Why Do I Love Nature So Much?

I have always loved plants, flowers, trees, The full moon, and water/rain well basically anything that had to do with nature, the full moon, water and when it rains. I love sitting under a tree, or sitting on the tree branch, sometimes when I hug a tree I can feel life just pouring inside of me it even happens when I walk in a garden, (I also have a plant in my room) I love to take pictures of flowers and I like to lay down on the ground and having flowers surround me and are everywhere. I have this joy inside of me like I am at home whenever I am around nature.

I can stare at the full moon for hours and every month I get excited and feel alive when it a full moon. I always talk to the plants and flowers that I have or even when I am passing by flowers, trees and plants. I love the rain and whenever it rains I always go outside and just stand there letting the rain fall on me and I always go inside completely wet. The rain makes me feel alive and I always feel happy. I love water so much that I can't stand not being away from water so long that I even had to get a fountain in my room and I always put extra water inside the fountain so it can make bigger splashes and to make the water come out higher.

I hope I can find some answers to why I love nature and water so much and why I can't stand being away from nature and watr. I wonder if this is because of my ability Environmental Empathy and if it is can anyone help me control it. I hope I can find an answer because this is kind of getting out-of-hand and I as much as I like having a fountain and a plant in my room I prefer to have them outside but I can't stand being away from them for so long so I have some problems.

I hope you do not mind me saying this. Maybe when I was in 3rd grade I had a book about stars I think or the galaxy and it said it was created by the big bang so I believed that's how the universe was created. I used to be Catholic but as I said evolution is probably the one that made me like space. And I think during my later years I like exploring the galaxy especially new planets.

When I first posted this story, I couldn't answer my own question but now I can.
Why do I love nature so much?
I love nature because the energy of nature is so pure, loving, positive and it's really hard to explain with words.
I just love nature.
You probably like Space because of its energy and Space is really interesting. The galaxy is very beautiful
I star gaze every night.

A little off topic I do not know why you like nature maybe because it helps you. I like space like planets, stars, moons. Maybe I like space it could be I like evolution right?

There are also a lot of websites that describe crystals by their appearance and then tell you what they do, you can probably identify some of them if you look up crystal properties or something similar.

Ok, well I know that amethyst is good for healing and opening the third eye/crown chakra, and that quartz (the clear one?) is a good overall balancing stone. Quartz can also be used with another crystal to enhace its ability. Rose quartz opens the heart chakra and helps you feel love for yourself and for others. I really like rose quartz. Experiment with them, try meditating while wearing them, or bonding with your indoor plants while wearing them. When I can't go outside ill wear a rose quartz (I only have 2 crystals) and sit by one of the few plants I have in my house. I find that quite satisfying and it makes the connection between me and the plant easier to feel (to me it feels like a flowing sensation in my chest accompanied by a general sense of well being and happiness) and I enjoy this almost as much as going outside. Almost:). Amethyst a lot of the time makes my forehead hurt (most likely opening my third eye chakra) but does help me relax and reach deeper meditations. You have more crystals to experiment then I do, so you might have many different reactions and experiences. Let me know if this works for you too 😊 oh yeah, and make sure to cleanse them once in awhile

upon reading the rest of the postings, it sounds like sensory overload and an inability to shut off your chakras. Sounds like an addiction to outside energy on that frequency. Just be comfortable not buzzing all the time and learn to coop on all energy levels not just that one. It might not feel as good but life is about more than just having a good time and then dying. But it's your life, make your choice. What do you want out of it?

I'm addicted to chocolate, and I'm ok with it at this point in my life. If that changes I'll change my behavior.

i'm sorry but I haven't read all the comments but did you realize that your human body is made mostly of water?

You're kind of taking around with you. Walls are human constructs, but even so they were once nature too. I don't normal like communing with dead things but you have yourself, the people around your are part of nature. I'm confused at your dilema. I've never felt seperated from nature or water or spirits for that matter. They all surround me just like the air that we all breathe. I'll read the rest of the comments

[at] lilylove: Well, they're not a substitute for going outside, but maybe they can help you better tolerate being away from nature for the time that's necessary. Do you know what type of crystals they are?

Maybe start writing your dreams down and analyzing them, ask yourself before you go to bed "How can I balance my love for nature?". Upon awakening immediately write down your thoughts on the subject, record your dreams and analyze them. You'll find an answer in there sometime.

i don't know if this would work... But maybe purchase a crystal that you can wear? Probably clear quartz, which is a good balancing crystal. I'm suggesting this because crystals come from nature, and they have a specific energy that is similar to the energy you experience in nature because they come from the Earth. Then maybe you can get the same benefits and experience the same joy you feel when you go outside when you don't have the time to be outside as much as you'd like. I also love being around nature, and when I can't be outside as long as I'd like because of school or freezing temperatures or whatever, wearing a crystal helps me feel that connection. Although it's not the same as interacting with a tree or experiencing the rain and it's not a solution, it can help you until you can tolerate not being around nature so much. If you do decide to get a crystal, make sure you get the one that's right for your purpose - they all have different effects

:)

I can't say if it really applies to you, but I've seen on various sites that empaths are close to nature, they feel happier and at peace when outside.

It could be a good calming tool, if you are upset you could use your attchment to nature to calm your emotions.

That makes sense. I do have a self control but now I am starting to think that maybe my self control isn't as strong as I thought it was before. I will try to find myself and figure this out thank you.

Wow... Hmmm. Then maybe you should try being apart from nature for a shecudled time. Once you get good at the time, then you move on to a hgiher time

Then perhaps the case is that you simply have a lack of selfcontrol/boundary.
It shouldn't be able to take you over unless you let it. The mind is a powerful tool, if you think you can't do anything by your own then you automatically will be just like that.

Gen in touch with yourself and ask yourself what you need and what you want and then decide it.

In a more simple term: Getting rid of old habits

Sincerely
Nahlire

Well, I found I had the same problem when I first started developing my abilities, and nature looked so great, I would just stay outside and stare. Then eventually, I took it all in, and got used to it. I think you might have this problem for a long since you posted it here, so maybe you should just sit down one day, and take it all in.

My problem is my ability is starting to controll me.

She doesn't want to control it, she wants to control her thirst for it. I find that people who meditate a lot love nature, but I don't know if you meditate a lot though.

Some people like myself are nature freaks. It is normal to be one.

At times it is medically recommended that we go out doors to experience fresh air and nature.

You cannot control nature. Even if you practice Wicca, you cannot control it.

And why would you feel the need to control nature?
