For the longest time I've gotten the chills whenever certain things happen.
I started to realize this when I would watch movies and the emotions on the screen would climax and the music would swell. I would get engulfed in this tingling feeling and then it would go down.
As I paid more attention to it, I realized that certain words or songs could cause these chills. Actually, they're more like swells of energy pulsing from me.
The strongest I've ever felt it was when I went to see Les Miserables and all the actors were singing Do You Hear the People Sing?. I thought I was going to have an OBE or something because my entire body felt numb and I felt like pure energy. It eventually faded, but I had to rub feeling back into my body for a second as the energy subsided.
I know that this isn't just me getting cold and shivering. In fact, I have a strangely high tolerance to cold. Even when it's snowing, I don't feel cold at all. During gym my friends always gawk at the way I never feel the temperature. I've tried explaining to them that I feel the cold, I just don't let it bother me. It's almost like a subconscious decision I make. I don't know if this is related, but it seems strange to me.
But these chills are so much more than just being cold. It's like I can feel the energy from certain words and frequencies just overwhelming me to the point where I can't even move.
Does anyone else experience something similar? Any explanations for this would be highly appreciated. All comments welcome (just no nasty ones--I do not need any of that).
