Psychic Energy Build Up?

Yesterday, I was burning up, not sick. It actually felt like the same energy build up in my hands, but throughout my whole body. I had to be at least 99 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 3 degrees above my normal temperature (I run cold mostly). My friend even noticed how hot I was. He was trying to help me feel better and talked to me and such and showed me some of his little kid pictures. He also cut himself some how too, when I wasn't paying attention or some thing so I licked his cut before trying to heal him with psychic energy. I had a hard time concentrating though because my whole body was not comfortable with the heat and I was a little tired. We fell asleep on the same bed. When we woke up, he doesn't remember any of it. Which is weird. He wasn't even tired enough to forget any of it. I've wondered if my energy had to do with this memory alteration? He usually remembers every thing (and likes to rub it in my face). I woke up fine, my temperature was completely normal again too, so I was definitely not sick. I wonder what the deal was.

Usually I have an energy build up in my hands occasionally, but that doesn't last very long, this lasted a while and was gone by the time I woke up. I don't think it has to do with my pyrokinesis ability, because I'm not that great at it, but I can make a flame a teensy bit bigger, but not noticeably. I am thoroughly befuddled. My strongest psychic ability, is probably empathy, if anything. I usually have a general sense of what people are feeling. My other strongest ability is this thing, I call it a shield. I have a psy-shield around me all the time that I can't control very well. Most people can't read me via psychic ability or a lot of things in general.
