I'm a little bit nervous to even talk about this, to be honest. I've grown up with spirits around me for much of my life, and moving into this new house has brought me peace for the past 5 years with no supernatural happenings, until recently. When I was younger, I used to see, hear, talk to, and eventually block out spirits. But now that I'm older, I enjoy the fact that I'm not as in tune to it in my busy life. I've never experienced what happened last night before and I have no idea what to make of it. Sorry for this long intro; here's what happened.
I was in a deep dreamless sleep when I was suddenly compelled to open my eyes. It was not a slow sleepy regaining consciousness, my eyes just snapped open. There was a big moving blob about the size of my kitchen stove in the middle of my bedroom. It looked like liquid water in the air. I had about a half a second to take the sight in before it jumped into the ceiling. And it was gone. Naturally I was surprised since I haven't seen anything supernatural in years, but I never got the uneasy feeling which I would usually associate with ghosts. I called my dog to come in my room but he sat in the door way and look in blankly. He didn't bark, just sat there and refused to come in. So I left my room and he kept sitting there. Finally after coaxing he came over to me into the living room where I moved to calm down, and I gave him his bone which he took back over to my bedroom door way and sat down and continued to look.
All of the ghosts I've ever seen have presented themselves in a form. When I was a baby until I was about 5, it was in the shape of an old man to which I'd refer to as "happy", as I aged I only had weird feelings of something watching me and only heard voices. I've never seen blurry, watery air before. Has anyone ever experienced this? We were going to go through the house with a candle tonight and ask it to leave but I don't want to shoo away something good. Since I wasn't scared, just surprised.
Thank you for your time. Please help!
