Did The Spirit Steal My Ability?

I had just discovered that I am telepathic a week ago. I can control it but it's still weak and sometimes when I got tired it would gone for a while until I relaxed or went to sleep. I wanted to developed my ability so I went to this website. Someone in this site had written a story about chakras and said that if I can open all 7 main chakras it could help to strengthen my ability. So when I went to sleep I visualize that all the chakras had opened. When the chakras all opened, It was like my soul had gotten away from my body and I felt that my soul was flying through earth. Suddenly I heard some voice whispered in my head that it can help me to develop my abilities. I didn't see the spirit but I can feel it. I thought all the spirit is good and it seem like the spirit wanted to help me so I accepted it. It was a terrible feeling when the spirit was doing something with me. My soul was being pushed away from my body and my body was overcharged with energy. I was scared so I opened my eyes and it stopped. I can feel that the spirit was angry but it couldn't do anything. I went back to sleep but the spirit keep annoying me. I ignored it but it started to touch me. I can't describe that feeling but it was hurt so I started to get angry and yelled at the spirit to leave me alone and go away. Luckily, it left. But the morning when I woke up I feel weak and I can't hear people thought or their emotions anymore. I think that my ability had gone. Someone please help me to get back my ability and deal with that spirit. Thanks for your help.

The spirit wanted to help you, so you accepted it... Well, you learnt a painful lesson the hard way. People on this site accept ANY spirit, that PRETENDS to be a spirit guide, but many times is a disguised demon! Sad but true! Sorry to burst your bubble... The only spirits that I trust to be my spirit guides are: Jesus, Mary, the saints, Archangel Michael and all the Holy Angels! And I don't try to contact them through channeling, ouija board, meditation, tarot cards etc. I just pray to them, read the psalms aloud, and fast from meat and dairy whenever I can. That's the safe and proven way to contact my amazing guides! God bless+

I had the same problem, except I'm not a telepath, I control energy. Anyway, I knew there was a spirit in my house and that it was looking for energy to become stronger but I didn't give it much thought. Last week I was sleeping and I felt like my body was either being pushed, or protecting itself by energy but it was a huge amount like you said "overcharged with energy",and I felt something trying to get in my body and the thought "finally this much power" came to my mind, but it wasn't me saying that. After I heard that, somehow I managed to push it away and it went away. I was able to go back to sleep but I felt empty, I couldn't work with energy. It's been a week and I still don't have anything near as close as what I had, but I can feel it getting better. My point is that, if you keep trying, it should come back, slowly, but surely, just be patient! =)

You have an amazing gift, don't take advantage of it.

never accept help from any entities other than yoir spirit guides, the only way things can hurt you is if you accept or kffer anything. I know this sound a little harsh but, I don't know about you but hearing peoples thoughts is an invasion of privacy and I hope you didn't do that to people without permission.

Do not worry about anything. Just relax. Telepathy is the ability to tune your mind into certain frequency which needs a relaxed mind state.

Forget everything that you couldn't do it anymore. Relax. Recall that experience when you are telepathic, feel the happiness, feel the confidence and you'll be soon able to do telepathy again.

Your ability wasn't taken, no ability can be taken from someone because it has developed inside them and has become a part of them. The only thing I can think of is that the spirit blocked out your mind to where your chakras are either closed or your mind has been clouded.

If you want to unblock your mind, then my suggestion is try a metronome. Set it to a slow pace and meditate, focusing on the ticks. It helps unlock your mind by putting it into a trance.

Here is a site for an online metronome, although I don't think it will have better effects than a real one.

Set the pace to 50 and focus. (you might want to click the "Auto" button)

As for the spirit, it is possible for me to help you out but I need the name. Its pretty much the only way for me to pinpoint it's location.
