I'm from Vietnam and I have to say that my country is not very modern. In another country like US or UK, it may be normal to have a special ability and there are a lot of people like us, who believed and help us when we suffered from difficulty in control an ability. But there are also a lot of people who don't understand us and think we are insane or dangerous (which we don't).For example, in my country if you say you have an ability like telepathy or clairvoyant, some people would laugh or think we are joking or some, worse, would say: 'Are you crazy?' with a weird look on their face. Or if you proved to them and they do believed you, they would sent you in hospital and check your brain if you are normal or not. It is harsh but it's true.
This morning nearly any popular newspapers and some channel in Vietnam had a big title: A girl set everything on fire just by looking at it. This is the story: An 11 years old girl in Ho Chi Minh city (A big city in Vietnam) had set a room in an apartment on fire just by looking at it. Her family said that she is a normal girl like everybody else when one day, everything around her started burning. She had burnt some stuff in her house and damaged some public stuff when she went outside to go to school. Her family had taken her to a hospital and her body is OK. A professional in Vietnamese Society of Dowsers said her RFI (an equipment which show in details about her aura and her bioenergetics) showing she had problem in her right cerebral hemisphere (sorry if you don't understand this sentence, I don't know how to translate this one, please search google for more accurate sentence because this is very important). Her family is worry that she's had some serious illness because they had never seen anyone done that before. Some doctors in Vietnam make her wear a quartz ring to balanced her right hemisphere but she was convulsed so they had to took it out. Some people asked her how did she do or feel when she burn something and she said that she didn't meant to do anything, she just felt a little bit tired when she did that. Her family had taken her to other country to help her with this 'illness'. The doctors say they will try their best to help her stop this from happening.
And here is my opinion: I have never been good at science and I don't really understand what exactly the doctor will do to help her, but from what I have known and read, the doctors are trying their best to block her ability (pyrokinesis-control fire). Some people had acted like she is some serious killer but mostly are curious and some even gave crazy advice which can have a bad affect on her. The problem is that most people don't understand and don't believe us, think we are different (in a bad way) and all the abilities we have is a joke. You may feel that there are a lot of website like this proved that people really do care about psychic stuff but how many of them take that serious? About 5000,10000?It may sound a lot but if you compare it with the world population you will find out how small it is. How many people out there deny what happen in front of their eyes, deny us and deny who they really are?
I'm sorry if I sound a little dramatic but it's true. This is real world, not 'x-men' or 'superhero' so please take it serious and discuss with me what do you think about it? What do other people think and react about you? What do the scientist do if they know all of the special abilities we have is true?
