Jessica, to help you a bit further, this is called being a trans-medium. If you google about it I'm sure you'll find plenty of information floating around.

Next I would look into the National Spiritualist Association of Churches to see if there is a church near you. Google that as well and you might actually be able to walk into a place with live people who can help you figure things out better. Spirit will guide you if you take the initiative to look. Step One was posting on this website. ❤

It's great to have people to talk this out with that have gone through these kind of experiences, and don't think of me as a freak, or scared of me. I appreciate all the feedback, and advice. Thank you! =)

i want to say its your guides. Its possilbe your higherself (subconcious) is allowing your guides to talk through you. So techinically, because you already communicate with them without your concious side being aware, you must be telling em, "oh yeah I wouldn't mind if you did, id like you to talk through me". I mean if you think about it, they only help you. And point out things you can change. I say the reason they point it out is so it can get your attention. And maybe they don't tell you what they say because they don't want to over whelm you. Id suggest you try and contact them. That's all I can say. Wish you luck.

It comes as it pleases because you're not effectively working this intuitive "muscle". If any of us have a natural ability (let's say drawing in this example). We can either keep doodling or take art classes. Renoir, Monet and Michelangelo all had to study to a great degree to become masters. This psychically flabby muscle of ours has atrophied and if you so desire, you can work it out and become strong. This all happens by educating yourself. You can't enhance your psychic abilities if you don't have the desire to learn about the aura, the etheric templates, chakras, and so on. And maybe you don't pursue this. I'm certainly not telling you what to do. I'm just saying that if you want, this path exists for you.

I know for me, I was interested in all things paranormal, metaphysical and spiritual. It was this profound desire to advance that led me to books so I could learn everything I could to take myself to the next level (and then "life" did the rest). No one or nothing could stop me. It was that strong of a desire. If your path truly is to help people, it will happen and stem from a desire to do so. You posted this article, so at a minimum, it has your curiosity. All of us are born with some gift or another. My own sister is an amazing healer but she ignores it because it doesn't pay what she wants and she feels college would take too long (I don't judge either way). So the gift goes unused but she'll have other opportunities, if even in the next life, to fulfill that. There is no race to spirituality! Go with where you heart and instinct tell you. You found us for starters!

The paradigm the therapist lives in obviously doesn't fit your reality so poof, off she sent you. It's amazing we can be counseled by someone who has no clue about some aspects of alternate realities. She wasn't in Kansas any more!

You obviously can be a conduit for spirits. Some people are just born this way - others have to cultivate it. What you have is common to psychic mediums. A "medium" can also be interchanged with the word "intermediate" in which you are the middle person for a message coming through. Before you were born, you agreed to have this capability in this life. Now it comes down to, what do you want to do with it? You might consider taking it to the next level and helping people. To transition from the service of self to the service of others. There are many people who would be thrilled with your assistance; to have that last communication with a loved one and so on. But this has to be driven by a desire from you. If you truly want that, then take the next step. There are plenty of ways to offer your services to earth's community. Think about developing your skill, opening your channel further, and doing the best you can in this life before you pass.
