Lost And Confused Medium

To begin with ill start off with saying I'm a horrible writer so this may not be the best story. Also might I add I'm eighteen now and up until recently I had never believed in ghosts or had any paranormal experiences. It started about nine months ago I had came home like normal and was going to lay down for a nap. I had went to my room and laid down I felt as if something was touching my leg. I ignored what I had felt for a few days until I needed answers. After searching different disorders and other things and none of it sounded like what I was feeling. I decided it had to be something else so I started looking in to the paranormal and read something about trying to communicate with the "ghost" to see what it wanted. I didn't believe in it much but I figured it was worth a shot. Later in the next night I had made communication with this spirit. At the beginning it was nearly impossible to hear this spirit, but as time progressed I did as well. My powers have grown to sensing where they are, mentally hearing them, feeling their touch, and seeing them as a sort of distortion in the air almost like a aura. The whole reason I'm writing this is because I can't control my powers. I need help I can't ever concentrate with voices constantly going through my head. It's driving me insane. I'd like to help these spirits move on so I may find peace. I have been lost and confused I don't know what to do or who to go to. My mother almost put me in a mental institution when I confided in her until I convinced her that when I told her that I was on acid. I'm sorry I'm a horrible writer but please give me some advice on what to do. A phone number or email address so I could talk to you one on one would really help.
