I have always felt like I've had a strong intuition but never really thought anything about it until recently. I'm 24, and when I was in high school I would always get strong feelings that something was going on with my sister. They were just gut feeling, nothing specific, but I was usually right. She was what you could call the "trouble child", so I just figured that was probably just a natural thing to feel. Anyways, recently I have had very specific thoughts pop into my head that have come true. They are so random, so I just figured it was weird coincidences.
First one, I was in the shower and I asked myself a random question. "What would happened if my car died, and Andrew (my husband) wasn't home to take me to work? Would the Kelley's (people I work for) pick me up or would I just call off?" Sure enough, my car was dead that morning. Luckily, my husband was home to take me to work.
Second time, my husband and I were at walmart. He is a police officer and I asked him what he would do if he witnessed someone shoplifting while he was off duty. He said nothing if it was not lifethreatening because he didn't have cuffs or a gun. Well sure enough, the people behind us leaving shoplifted and it was a huge ordeal. The people ended up taking off and the police were called. To top it off, we had passed this couple, who had kids with them, a couple of times while at walmart. I kept getting very weird vibes about them and the guy seemed like a very angry scary person. Which I was right about. I found it weird that they ended up leaving right behind us and then that happened. Coincidence or not?
After those to experiences I started thinking maybe I have had other random thoughts that have actually happened and I didn't realize it? Is there something to this or am I just over thinking it?
My husband and I have had trouble getting pregnant and I have this gut feeling that we are going to have twins, boy and girl, after receiving fertility treatment. It's a strong feeling like I just know. I can't explain it, but I felt this way since being more aware of my intuition, if that is what is it.
