Understanding Spirits

I see ghosts and spirits and sometimes I feel bad for them, like if I can see them or feel them that I should help them in some way. I just don't know how to.

I have ghosts in my house and awhile ago I saw a woman in my hall upstairs. I don't know if they are trapped here or there meant to be here? So I tried to talk to her and sometimes it's hard for me to understand them. Anyone know a better way to hear them? So after I talked to her I tried everything I could think of to help her into the light. I haven't seen her since so I hope it worked. Is there a right way to help them into the light?

Then the day after when I was sleeping I woke up to someone lying next to me in bed. I couldn't see them but you can feel when someone gets in bed beside you. I didn't feel threatened so I just went back to sleep. Then I woke up a little while later to something hovering right over me, a very cold patch, the coldest I've ever felt. I just want to better understand, why can we only see some and others we can't? Are we meant to help the ones we see? Why are some shadows and some clear to see?

Are the orbs with different colors there to help you? This one time I was walking outside my bedroom door and I stopped because I felt really uneasy. I new something was watching me and it meant to do me harm, but then I looked over to the other side of me and saw a blue orb and it made me feel protected. I new it wouldn't let me be harmed. Are they guides or angels?

Then Last night I kept wakening up to a hissing sound, and every time I looked around nothing were there, any thoughts? Sometimes I see what looks like straight white lines around me. Anyone know what they are or seen them?
