i sense energy alll the time and I have had two warrior like spirits in my dreams. I always sense their energy around 12am through 2am. I can't hear them but I've seen them in two of my dreams and the energy in my dreams when I saw them is the same energy I sense all the time at night your not alone with sensing energy

Hi Grant, my abilites began to surface a great deal stronger after my dad passed away almost 2 years ago. My awareness of the change also began with my hands and I could sense energy/vibrations changes. I had bought some oracle cards and began practicing with them and noticed I could sense vibrations in them. So one thing I tried was having someone pick one card out of six cards (keeping their choice secret and writing it down), lay them face down and try to "feel" their card. I would feel tingling and warmth over the card they chose. So basically, I am saying exercise your ability, play around with it... Its like a muscle the more you exercise it, the stronger it gets.

I also am a Reiki II therapist and work with animal energies (totems), so when I am performing a Reiki session I see "glimpses" of animals like pictures and many times there are colors I see; all of this with my eyes closed also. To me, the colors represent healing and since colors have vibrations, I take it to mean the person needs a certain color I am seeing to aid in their healing or they need that color for a certain Chakra perhaps. So I think there are many reasons we see colors. (If you have a strong feeling you are seeing your aura color, you are most likely correct. It may be that you will beable to pick up on other people's aura in that way too, so you should practice that, it would be cool to know what you fine out!)

I just want to thank everyone for the advice. Its just hard for me to understand since all this started only 5 months ago. Then I started questioning my mental stability even though deep down I knew it has to be way more than what some doctor has to say. And yes I do believe that psychologists only look at the explainable aspect of things. They don't look outside the box, they just put you on the meds. But I have not been reading any books. I know I need to so I can start making sense of these things and learn about how I can use whatever I've 'learned' or been 'given'. I have been talking to other psychics ans so far its been helping me cope with a lot of things. If anyone has anything that may help me to go on the right path, I'm open to any suggestions. What you may be feeling is the energy from your third eye, and hand chakras. Have you ever read anything from the Kabalah? The third eye is between your eyes on your forehead, when it is opened you are supposed to have enlightening, or clairvoyant experiences. You have chakras in your hands and feet, and some others. The ones in your hands may be 'paranormally' powerful. (More powerful than most others) You should read about these things, if you are open to other beliefs. Then you could try a meditation in which you open your third eye, or charge your shakra, and then use them.

Depending on your culture, I recommend researching enlightened beings.

In the West psychics are known as "angels" and "demons."

In the East we would be called "bodhisattvas," or re-incarnated beings, sent to the human plane to influence things.

It's important that you know that psychologists may be demons, given that they will attempt to destroy your ability.

My general advice is to never choose a negative thought path, and only seek the advice of a positive psychic.

Wow. This is great to find you talking about this. I've had questions for a long time. I'm what you might call "mid life" age and 15 years ago I realized at night I was seeing a lot of light energy like snow. Then I'd see it during the day and sometimes just not know, is it raining? People would just say "no". Don't you see that? "no." But when I had kids I saw little blue lights around them, just flashing so fast. A woman who sees auras told me that's what this is. I wondered why I just saw them around me kids. I did see one around a counsellor recently, who I adore. I go on and on... Then recently I went on a meditative retreat (enlightenment intensive) and felt the same pressure of energy inbetween my eyes when focusing upon making a direct connection with my true self. I'd see a small light right in that space too, with eyes closed. The coolest thing was that after one quiet contemplation time, I realized that there was a kind of perfect circle with a "finger print" design inside, every where I'd look. At that time, the edges of objects were also blurred. I was told "don't focus on that" since that was not the enlightenment we were there to achieve. But the other night at a similar exercise, I had it again. My hypnotherapist (new) said it has to do with a shifting of brainwaves. And I go on! I feel like electric energy in my right hand so much lately my thumb was twitching. I feel energy around people (mostly the head) very easily with it. Oh, I also started seeing the auras of trees and other people including my own hand during the retreat. And still feeling the energy of trees and rocks in my right hand. What up?

grant, it is defintley good to hear from someone like myself. I'm glad you read my entries. And I totally agree, once we come to terms with the abilites that we have and see other succesful people living with these abilites, its easier... I literally have had dozens of experiences I have noticed, just since joining this website... And wouldn't have seen these and just brushed them off before. If you need someone to talk to... I am also very new to this whole thing. But what intrigued me about your story was the hands. I posted a story on here maybe you should read it and see if we are similar. But sometimes I feel this energy between my hands and I concentrate on it. Sometimes I can put so much energy into it, I can actually see it and feel it. Dont know what it is, but sometimes I just get creative and try and make one. Very interesting.

Well, here's the thing. You have had this certain dormant ability for all of your life. It's just that your using it more and more now.
Two things are making you experience these abilities/gifts more often now:

1.) Meditation - when your spine is straight, and you empty your thoughts, you ARE in a way... Developing your own sixth sense/third eye/energy.
2.) Age - As you get older, your going to become more and more understanding to these things. As your mind opens, new experiences WILL be happening to you. So. Get ready

Do you ever notice that your thoughts become reality and manifest themselves, or someone else picks up on your feelings and thoughts? Maybe even your energy is detected by someone else in the room?
If yes, then I'm almost positive your coming into some empathic skill/ psychic skills you possess.

Also, the pressure on your the top of your head area you described, is you- "listening in"- to a different frequency. This frequency during meditation includes you tapping into clairsentience... Another different type of psychic ability... Where you might experience hearing whispers (so on and so on...)
