I've had my fair share with speaking to those no longer bound to this earth and I do not fear nor try to banish them from my sight. They have always been very much like they were when they lived. Most are very civil. However, one encounter I had with a demon froze me on the spot. That had never occurred before and I am uncertain how to over come my reaction.
I was out with my family in St. Augustine, Florida. Just strolling through the streets, taking the long way back to the Hotel. On the same road that has the armory and the military graveyards were civilian homes along the river. We were walking along the graveyard side of the road and I was looking at the houses across the street. One home in particular caught my eye, specifically the balcony. Standing there as plain as day was a Demon. No physical form other then his eyes and the darkness of his evil. Its eyes locked onto mine and for the first time in my life my body was not mine. My feet stopped at (If you continued the fence surrounding this house across the street) the edge of his domain. I couldn't break free by myself, and the rest of my family who are not sensitive in the same way passed through without a flinch.
My mother finally noticed I wasn't moving from that spot and came back to ask me what was wrong. I had to force myself to speak in a very harsh rough whisper that I couldn't move from where I was. That Demon just watched I knew he was enraged that I was anywhere near him. My mother grabbed my arm and pulled me into the domain my feet scraping on the pavement, and I felt my heart being constricted like it was being gripped by a hand, I'm thankful my mother is strong enough to move me quickly other wise, I think my heart would have popped. When she pulled me through the edge my feet of their own accord moved quickly down the sidewalk it took everything to keep from running. And I didn't stop until I grabbed a light post four blocks down and forced myself to stop.
As I said, that has never happened to me before. I have never met one that had that power over me. Has anyone else had this happen?
