Please Explain My Empath Gifts

I don't know when it started, but I was young.

If I couldn't go to sleep I would see little orbs, flashing different colors, and as big as your fingernail come out of no where. They would float fast or slow depending on how I was feeling. I loved them, because they meant I had some entertainment before I had to go to bed, and eventually... They would lull me to sleep.

Currently, different things have happened to me. It just started, but before I go to bed I would close my eyes for about a minute or more... Until a bright white light would fill my eyelids. When I open my eyes, nothing is there except black. Along with the white light at night, I sometimes hear voices calling my name. They are voices I've NEVER heard before. They are just random people that call me. Another incident that happens to me all the time is that, I can read people's emotions. It comes very easy to me. But I can link emotions to colors, and some colors don't have a name, so neither does that emotion. It can get very frustrating at times. I can also read emotions through a book or text, whatever that person felt at that time... I feel. I know this because I would ask that person how they're feeling. 9 times out of 10 I would say I get that person's emotion right. The only "bad" thing is that I can't tell you the emotion that you're feeling on cue. It's more for my subconscious to know, and for me to feel. I am a VERY visual person, I tell people I can't think of a "word" (if we're having a conversation) because I think in pictures.

Just as extra information to help me I will tell you what my username means. I have had 2 visions of my children. Their names are Serenity and Dylan (still a little iffy with my sons' name). The vision I saw of my daughter and son were very vivid (keep in mind I was 16 or 17 when I had this vision). When I was looking through the garage something told me to look into this old notebook I had written in. In the notebook it had a dream that I wrote down, it was of a little boy and a little girl. (I was 11 or 12 when I had this dream). The description of my son and daughter fit exactly to the criteria of what they looked like in my visions, except in the dream, they were babies, in my visions, they were about 2 years old.

I have so many questions. I don't know where to begin. I don't want to ask a psychologist or therapist, because they would just go down the list on how "sick" I am. I am diagnosed with Bipolar, but I am not willing to put all this on my illness, there is no possible way that Bipolar caused all this, especially if I am properly medicated at this time. I know it has to be something more... Like a spiritual gift. I do remember my mother telling me over and over again (because I liked the story because it was real) of how she saw an angel. I must have some special gift (s). Please tell me specifically what the names of my gift (s) are/is. So I can look into it more. Also, please tell me how I can become an expert in making my gift (s) more powerful. I know this is a lot to ask, but I would be REALLY grateful.
