I Think I Am Psychic, Please Help

Hi I'm looking for someone to talk to that understands me I have issues with seeing ghosts it wasn't an issue until about three months ago when I was at an old hotel and things started falling off the desks and objects started moving now I think something is after me. Please help me.

You might be, but what you've said so far sounds promising. Keep a journal with you and write down when these things happen.

I started with this when I was around that age also - I was 10 and it started when my parents moved us into a haunted house - a childhood I wouldn't trade for the world. We had 3 awesome ghosts.

I'm in my twenties now. I catch people's emotions, I get impressions - sometimes vague, sometimes strong - from photos, know who's on the phone, know what people will say before they say it, know who's coming out of the elevator before the doors open, et cetera.
I haven't had a prediction psychic dream since I was 14 - they just confused me so I'm not too upset about that. I understand how frustrating they can be. Those stopped when my strongest ability started getting much stronger. That's seeing ghosts and picking up their feelings. I have had visits in dreams from deceased relatives - great-grandparents and great aunts and uncles whom I've never met.

From ghosts I don't personally know, I don't often get direct messages, except when they're cranky. That usually means, "Hey, you're here and you know I'm here." Then it's either "Okay, you can go away now," or, "HEY! Wait! You see me so I'm going to follow you around this building for a while!" Once in a while, I'll catch a name.

I'm lucky in that my mother has the same abilities and believes me. If I've found a place I believe is 'inhabited', I'll take her there cold turkey - no prior information. Then, we compare notes after we've left the place.

I think you have two choices. You can either try to make your sight stronger and help, which may be upsetting for you, or you can try cleansing and protecting your room. Even a dreamcatcher might do it, if you empower it with the right 'energy'.
Another option is to get a necklace, bracelet, or something along those lines and empower it as a kind of protection.

Do you keep a dream diary? Maybe you can link some of your visions in your dreams to stress-triggers in your life. They might not all be psychic. If you can learn to tell the difference, you might sleep better.

Dude I just 13 and when I was 5 there were things that I could do that would make people shiat themselves. Hey, I was touched by your story because I see myself in your story. Basicly word for word I am going through exactly what you are. I used to think I was mental. But then I heard these stories and I could relate to them. I am 13 and still haven't told my parents. I don't think my dad belives in this, but I know my mom does. In my dreams, I see death, and I know that dosent sound like much to most people, but it truly does hurt. I see kids getting picked up and raped then thrown out into the streets or woods. And its more local than distance. I cann see local people bing raped or killed and then the next morning it is on the news. Also, this is the wierd part, but sometimes its as if they are actually talking to me. I can not only feel their emotions, but the people around me as well. Idkabout this thing that I am about to tell you, but sometimes its almost like I have some say so in the tempature. Idk, but if any one wants to ever tell me somting, feel free to comment and tell.

Oh and also I asked about stengthening abilties and a lot of people said things like meditation and there's a lot of great books but I also think that some abilties strengthen with age, mine seem to hope this helped:)

hey emily I agree with the vendettababes I think you are psychic and an empath and none of it is your fault and like my psychic friend says we get these powers for a reason and we try and use them to help and be the best we can but if you can't completely help them its not your fault you are trying your best so don't worry and if in any situation you can help then help. Also I havnt told my parents of my powers but I have told a few friends and I find it comforting I would tell my parents but I don't think they really believe in this sort of stuff but it might be different in your situation if you feel like you can tell them then just do it and post me a comment if you want any help or to talk we can even email if you want seeing as I am 13 aswell we could have a lot to talk about:)

Hi Emily, I agree with DGPhoenix. In fact, that is what I was going to suggest to you is checking out Allison Dubois. If what you are saying is true, then I think you are psychic. You sound like one of those kids on that A&E show... I think it's called 'Psychic Kids'...? I hope you have understanding & kind parents because you need their help & guidance so that you can learn how to sharpen your gift in helping others. We all need that support from our family. Like Allison Dubois, you too could help the police catch murderers. What I mean is, this could be your career path someday.

I don't have these vision dreams like you. My thing is I feel, when I least expect it, a presence near me & sometimes I see shadow people. To be honest, it really scares me & makes me feel uncomfortable. I don't like it & don't wish to hone in on it, unless I positively knew I would be safe. For me, if I did hone in on it, I feel like it would be opening up a can of worms. But like you, I do feel what emotion people are feeling, especially animals. I've always had that as long as I can remember. The phone thing, yes, I can do that too. Almost every time, I'm right. And also whoever is at the door & when I get a text message; I can usually tell who it's from & what it says before I open the text.

I'm 37, but as a teenager, I did try to discuss what I was going through with my Mom & my 2 sisters. My sisters will shut me down every time in mid sentence & tell me they DON'T want to talk about it. My Mom, well, she's ALWAYS said it's my imagination or from watching scary movies. Although, they would always call me when they "felt" like something was wrong with me or about to do something stupid, like most kids do. It's weird how they always knew. So needless to say, I don't talk about it with them now. Except for my Mom. From time to time, I'll try to tell her what I go through because even though I'm an adult, I still look to her for support, advice & guidance. But it's the same story with her; she always says it's my wild imagination. I can sometimes talk about it with my husband. But he too, part of the time, thinks it's my imagination. And then again sometimes, he believes me & is very supportive & let's me talk about it. Poor guy, he doesn't know what to think. But at least he's more supportive than my family. Which I don't want you to think I have a negative family; they're great & we're really close. It's just about the paranormal subject that they aren't very supportive. They're just really skeptical about it. Plus, it creeps them out & they don't like to talk about it & discount it as my "imagination..."

I do think that you need to tell your parents, though. How you can tell them is by sitting them down & saying "mom, dad, I need to tell you something that's really bothering me & I need your help..." By saying this, you will have their 100% attention. Then tell them about your dreams & ask them what does this mean. See what they say. Also, ask them if they will go on the A&E website with you to look up the information about Chip Coffey, who is a psychic medium & Dr. Lisa Miller, who is a clinical psychologist. They help a lot of kids just like you.

Yes, you seem to be very gifted. Sometimes it may also seem like a curse, but trust me, most gift/curses can be changed into just plain gifts. I am 18, and have had strange abilities all my life. I always knew I was different, but never did I think I was crazy. As a joke, I say I am, but I take it as more of a compliment, because if I'm crazy, then that also means I have a little more brain power than the average person in some respects. It may be scary for a while, but there are many like you, and one particular person who I think has the same gifts as you. Her name is Allison Dubois. She has a tv show "based" on her life, called Medium. Of course it may not be that accurate, but she has written books about her powers and from what I understand, she is very encouraging for young psychics. You might want to check out a bit about her. What you do with your abilites is totally up to you though. Just remember morals, and never let someone tell you to do something you don't want to do. You are who you are and you are what you make of yourself, and should be proud of that. I wish you much luck in learning control and working everything out. It can be hard in a society such as this, but slowly, people are becoming more accepting. You may even have a better advantage than me, being younger. So good luck, and best wishes.

Don't worry your not crazy. I'm sixteen and started noticing that I felt people feelings when I was your age. It's really confusing when you feel someone elses feelings, but you have to remember it's their feelings not yours. I remember how when I felt someones really sad feelings I thought they were mine and I wasn't able to classify why I felt this way and began to get somewhat depressed. If you do get a sudden wave of emotion that came from nowhere you have to remind yourself that if you don't think it's your feelings, it most likely isn't. Also when it comes to the phone I can to that to. You can play around with that like I used to, for example: If you get that feeling that someone is going to call you try and focus on who is calling you and then when the phone rings see if you were right. If you have a really good friend try focusing on their face then in your mind try and make them call you. I did this a few times and it worked but it's fifty fifty chance. Good luck!

If that's crazy, then we're pretty much all crazy here. I'm with vendettaBabes, you're both psychic and an empath. I don't know what to tell you though. I'm a horrible psychic. Not strong at all. Heck, I'm pretty sure that I barely qualify, from what I've heard of everyone else. However, I DO know that you have to take advantage of your abilities. Maybe you can't right now, but later on in life they may come in handy.

my guess is that you are not only psychic, but also empathic. It isn't your fault when you have those kind of dreams! I think that maybe you dream travel, going to someone else's life when that person is going through, or going to go through. Either way, it isn't your fault. I do think your gift MUST be a burden.
