This is my first post to this site, so I will include a few different stories of mine. For most of my life, I've had a tendency to be able to just "know" things. Sometimes, they're really important and other times it's just trivial things. I'm not sure what to think about these things. Any thoughts or ideas you have will be greatly appreciated.
I don't know how much credibility this first story has, but my mom told me about it, and I trust her and don't believe she'd lie about something like this. Anyways, when I was very young, maybe 3, I told my mom I had a dream that my grandmother had gotten me a horse (she lived on a big ranch). Later that afternoon, my grandma called and said she had gotten a horse especially for me. I definitely don't remember the dream, but I really did get my very own horse.
The next story really made me question psychic abilities. One afternoon, my mom was getting ready for work and I was getting ready to go visit a friend. Suddenly, a few minutes before we were about to go, I got a "bad feeling". I had a gut feeling that something bad was about to happen and that I could not go to my friend's place. It was a very strong feeling in the pit of my stomach, and I had no doubt I was right about this "feeling." Five minutes later my mom and I were rushing to the car after we got a call that my sister had been hit by a car. (She was fine, just a few scrapes. She was on a bike at the time.)
My next story will probably sound silly, and maybe even made up, but I can assure you I'm not lying! Last year, there was a big football game between the Broncos and the Seahawks. My family and I talked about the game a little, but soon forgot about it. You should know I almost never watch football games, I've never been interested really at all in football, and I certainly don't know anything about teams or how skilled they are. So, maybe 2 or 3 hours before the game even starts, I get another one of those gut feelings. While I was sitting in the living room, without any previous consideration or thoughts about the game, I sit up and say "The Seahawks are going to win."to myself. It wasn't like I was wondering or even thinking about this. It was like something made me stop all other thoughts and actions and said that the Seahawks would win. I had the same feeling in my stomach, and I just knew that I was right. As you probably know, the Seahawks beat the Broncos that game.
I have tendencies to guess the exact number someone will say when they ask me to guess (like "choose a number between...) and I frequently feel like I should check my cell phone and then get a message as soon as I pick it up. Less than 2 weeks ago, I felt the need to get my cell phone to check for calls or messages, and as soon as I grabbed it, I got a call from my general manager who told me I was hired for my first job! If any of these experiences could be psychic or something related, please tell me what you think, even if you think that these things have normal explanations. Thank you for reading.
