Mysterious Source

This will be hard to explain. And it sounds crazy. But I desperately need help. When I'm alone there's this, spirit? I don't know what it is or how to explain it. When I'm alone I feel this darkness or something like its trailing from my loser back or something. My ability is water. Which I have discovered helps me to sense peoples emotions, auras and spirits. But not see them sadly. Well I sensed it last night again and decided to analyze it. I pictured myself looking at it then when I was about to touch it (in my mind as I don't think I can touch this) I saw black tentacle things reaching towards me. I only saw it for a second and then it was like it swept over my mind. I felt a terror I couldn't even imagine until that moment. And it didn't have a source. I couldn't shake it either. I freaked out. I was awake but I told my mom it was just a nightmare and that's why I was thrashing around and screaming. Its very difficult for me to sense auras today. I seem to have hardly a connection to water. And I can only sense negative emotions. I have tried meditating. Its helped but very little. Kind of like if you burnt your throat badly then drank tea with honey. It helped but it didn't at the same time. This... Source? Its scaring me. Yes id like to get rid of it. But more than that. Id like to know what it is and why I got it. Has it happened to anyone else? Is it contagious? God I hope not. I have a friend who has abilities like me. She has precognition and something I have no name for. She can see a persons past. And I don't want her to suffer because I have contracted something. If anyone can give me any information help or tips please tell me. No matter how insignificant you think it is it will help me a lot. Thanks.
