Two years ago my son and I were on our way to the nearest town 30 miles away. I thought it be a bit faster to go down the road until we got to the highway. Half way to the highway I felt danger, and so told my son we were going a different way to town. He said to me "But why mom?" I said I didn't feel safe going that way today.
We went to town and went shopping. On the way back my son ask me to take the highway to see if anything was dangerous on that road today. I told him we would be in a lot of traffic as the road was closed. He kept insisting and so I agreed to go down the highway towards home.
We only went down a short ways on the highway and yep sure enough the road was blocked off. From where we were in the car on the ground and all the traffic ahead stuck in the traffic jam, we could not see what was going on. We had to detour over a bridge towards another town farther from where we live. As I got to the top of the bridge my son and I looked over to the right of the car and then we seen what had happen.
A semi had run over a car, to us it looked more like just something smashed into the ground that was shinny. My son kept looking and said to me "Mom how did you know there was danger taking the highway?". I told him that I have these "Premonitions" when something is dangerous for my family, friends or for myself. He asked "How do you get these mom?" I told him I didn't know they just came to me.
Later on I read where the little car pulled out in front of the semi and the semi driver didn't have a chance to stop and ran over the car. Killing the two passengers in that car.
Now when my son is with me and I say we can't go this way or that, or can't go here or there, he never questions me about it anymore.
