I come from a psychic family, and we all have different "gifts", and I'm a teenager, and I've talked to my mom and grandmother about it, and they've been coaching me. A few years ago, my parents went through a divorce, which sparked my gifts, and their divorce also put a painful impact on my life.
For a long time, I used to sleep with my door closed, but within the past couple of months, I have had to sleep with my door open due to a disturbance in my room.
Almost every night, whether I am at my mom's or dad's house, I have nightmares, and scream throughout the night. I've tried everything, and I have a mandela in my room, but it hasn't done anything. It's an authentic Native American mandela, too.
About 4 months ago, I encountered a woman in my dreams, and she appeared to be around 25 years old. She had brown hair, brown eyes, pale skin, wore a long, dark-colored dress with a high collar, and her hair was in a bun. She introduced herself as "Charlotte", and was very bitter to me. She lived in a farm house, but it was very dusty and appeared to be abandoned. She led me upstairs, and to the stairs that lead to the attic, and had me search for a book. I had to climb up high and was being pulled down by other beings, and it was terrifying.
That was the first night I met her.
A few nights later, she came into my dreams again, and led me around the exterior of her house, and I noticed it had a garden and white siding. The time period seemed to be around 1860s. She had me go upstairs again. She strangled and choked me, and had me go up to the attic again. Once more, I climbed up high, and had to take a ladder to an old dresser. I searched through it, and found a family photo album, and walked down out of the attic. I believe she attacked me again, and yelled at me. She hasn't come back for awhile, and I will see her if I sleep with my door closed. She seems to enjoy walking around my house at night, and feels trapped in my room.
Could Charlotte possibly be an entity, and used to live on the land I live on now? I live in an urban district, and from what I know, this was farmland. She seemed very upset about my house on her property, and I believe she was killed by her husband or a man that she knew. From what I collected from her, she had a baby, too.
The question is, what should I do? Should I try contacting her again and trying to find out what she wants, and possibly befriending her? Or should I just leave her alone? There's something she wants me to know, and I'm the only one she can talk to.
Responses are welcome, and suggestions are also recommended. This has become very troublesome for me, and I need help.
