I was meditating last night (I'm horrible at it), focusing on my solar plexus and heart chakras. I started with my heart chakra, but it wasn't a bright healthy orb of energy. It was mostly black with this little ring of yellow around it's out side and pulsing very abnormally. Isn't the heart chakra supposed to be emerald green?
It looked like a dying planet or star, just weakly glowing around its edge, but only just barely.
Next I tried the solar plexus, but it looked the same as the heart chakra but bright green instead of yellow, the majority of its center also black. The plexus was in much better shape than my heart chakra, it's ring of color much larger and brighter, but clearly also in trouble.
I really don't know anything about chakra health and how to maintain them, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out something isn't right with them, considering the plexus is supposed to be yellow, the heart green, and both bright and shiny (right?).
Why would both be the wrong color? Was I focusing on the wrong chakra each time, seeing the heart when I meant to see the plexus and the plexus when I meant to see the heart? I don't suppose you could call me the most joyful person, I don't think a therapist would call me "okay" either.
What happens if a chakra "goes out" or dies? My heart chakra, or plexus chakra, whichever one it really was, really looked like it was going to super nova any minute, and the second one didn't look like it would be far behind the explosion of the first. Would any of my other chakras also be sick? How do I get both back to normal?
