My Guide just informed me: "I see too many people who just want to communicate with the spirit world having no regard for the actual advice given to them by their guides. You shouldn't think you are "cool" nor brag with your gift when you are not willing to put yourself at humble service of the Source. Remember you are not only here to hear and speak to spirits, you see us for a greater reason - we speak to you to help you and others".
Just a reminder that it is not just a thing of speaking to spirits, if you hear or see them you should utilize what you hear and see to help yourself and others around you.
With such a gift comes responsibility. Some just want to be known for being psychics or mediums, but others for their actual deeds guided by the Light.
It is not funny to say you can hear or see spirits, it is serious and some think it is a joke. Nor is this a thing to be bragged about, because it is a huge deal. Anyone can write they speak to or see so and so spirit, but what have you really done with this ability? What is the spiritual message being delivered?. Since that is the true purpose of all Guides! Not just a simple appearance or just being there but to tell a story that brings people closer to God and their spiritual purpose in life!
A few months back I had a vision of me standing on my knees and a spirit dressed in a white flowing glow had something in its hands. To hit me in the face, saying "each blow we deal you is for your own good, the lessons you learn on your spiritual journey will be like a lash dealt from the spirit world and like a tattoo would sink into your face as part of your identity; wear them proudly each lesson overcome another stripe to be proud of!".
My face didn't hurt, it was just a vision you see. The spirit had a feminine presence as well as masculine. The feminine being the explaining and understanding part - like a mother would guide her child with encouraging words, explaining the masculine actions and why they would happen, for what purpose - instead of just scaring me and leaving me without answers. Soft but stern the Angelic presence was.

People can become lazy on their paths if they don't acknowledge a sense of discipline as the Guidance from above... If you just sit in your comfort zone you'll be going nowhere, sitting without a pruning direction. A true spiritual path is challenging, day in and day out as you let yourself be guided by the Source in search of your Unity with it.
On the last note: sometimes they drag you out of your comfort zone to learn hard lessons to bring comfort to others.
