Receiving Messages In My Dreams?

For a while now I had this hunch that I may be related to a distant family friend. I had no way of confirming it without stirring up family drama but during the time I was learning about Spirit Guides so I decided why not try and contact my guides for answers. I reached out and contacted them several times and I'm sure these are answers given to me from them. I've had crazy dreams and experiences. But I'm not sure what to make of them, here's a list of my dreams and experiences. I'm going to refer to the distant family friend as 'E'.

I began asking for signs before bed and this is what started to happen;

I dreamt about an old lady circling the date 9th January on a calendar, when I woke up it took me a while to realise that that date is E's birthdate. I then dreamt about a book that had a list of names written down, at the bottom of the book was a males name written in somewhat Polish and again I realised that the name was E's older brothers name (both E and her brother are Polish). Then again, I dreamt I was boarding a rollercoaster but I was alone and I was leaning against a wall which had names engraved into it, E's full Polish name was engraved into the wall.

I began getting frustrated because I couldn't understand what the signs meant so I asked for clearer signs. I then began having more vivid dreams. One about E and myself being cousins, another one was about her returning from a holiday somewhere and she had bought me a bag of peanuts and most of my dreams lately consist of her or her name showing up.

Then not long ago I asked for a very specific sign, I asked for my guides to put a pink feather in my path if they were with me. I kept a look out for it but it never came then about a week later my mum bought my cat a toy, my cat played rough with it and broke it and the following morning my mother handed me a pink feather that had fallen off of her toy (I hadn't even realised that the toy had feathers on it) but she said 'this is a pink feather' and just gave it to me.

I'm not really sure what to make of all this so I'm hoping someone can please help me.
