Opening The Door

Most defiantly you can open doors to unwanted spirits. I had this actually happen to me. My subconscious would open doors and I did get it to stop after figuring out how to close up the doors.😁

Onyx has some incredible insight and great advice. Couldn't have said it better myself. Though, I can relate to you, not as an empath, yet rather as a fellow practitioner in the art of Tarot and the possible ability of spiritual perception, otherwise known as feeling spirits around us. True, it's most likely the electromagnetic fields being put off by electrical outlets and certain electronics, as science has proven is possible. However, there are signs that will let you know there are spirits watching over you and those that are near you. The ones watching over you are most likely your spirit guides and guardian angels, perhaps even an ascended master or two. What those signs are, I cannot tell you for sure, since it depends on how your mind perceives symbolism in its own way. That's how Tarot works, all it requires is your take on what each card means to you. You can read up on how other people view them for reference, yet it's best to keep practicing daily to measure up what they mean to YOU.

For example, for me the signs that there are spirits near me are usually a sudden higher or lower pitch in the feedback resonance in your ears, also known as the constant tone or ringing in your ears while you try to go to sleep or being in a silent room. It's common to believe this as Tinnitus, yet there is no explanation for the changing of pitch and tone in the ringing, or even the sudden blare of tone I usually get at random moments. It could very well still be electromagnetic waves. It's up to you on what you think it is.

I realized over the past year of practicing meditation and psychic abilities that it's best to use your own self-evidence on what to govern between what is right for you and what others may say. It's good to take another's advice into consideration, still. If you really want to make sure your house is clear of any negativity from outside influence, take what Onyx has said into consideration. You may also use incense, since surprisingly, certain scents will drive away most negativity, like Dragon's Blood scent for instance. Of course, you have to make sure you're not being negative as well while doing this. I also tend to rely on my guides and guardian angels for reassurance, comfort, spiritual healing, and protection from any negativity and malicious intent. Of course, you don't have to believe in that, for whatever your beliefs are, you may rely on your deity for all this. Your deity WILL help out, trust me. Shielding also works really well, just practice it daily. 😊

Opening up your mind or using tarot cards doesn't invite malevolent spirits into your home. What probably happened is that, since you started becoming stronger, you probably were able to pick up on something that had already been there. Remember, like attracts like. Negative thoughts attract negative things where as positive thoughts attract positive things, positive thoughts even repel negative energy.

If you felt watched it might've just been you feeling the electromagnetic fields from outlets and such. Being psychic makes it easier for those things to affect you (paranoia and such) if you don't train yourself regularly.

Spirits are everywhere because they can wander and because so many people have passed on. The only thing is that, unless you're tuned in to certain frequencies, you can't really see or feel most of them.
Spirits are people too, so just ask them kindly to leave you alone. If that doesn't work, shielding is a great tool. Imagining white or golden light surrounding you and repelling negative energy is a great way to do it. Do it regularly at first, and then as you do it more often and become stronger, you'll only need to do it every once in a while. This also works great on your home and keeping it clean of negative energy 😊
