Ever since I was a little girl, unexplained goings on have happened around me, having a good mum I was never made to feel strange or like a freak but when I got older things stated to change. At the age of 17 me and my mum constantly had mediums around our house trying to help spirits that had gotten attached to me pass over. This story is about one of those times.
I was alone in my house when I heard a very clear child-like voice talking on our landing, following the voice I suddenly got very cold and in my mind's eye, I could see the image of a little girl smiling at me. It felt weird, like I couldn't get her out of my head but I wasn't scared, I asked her what her name was, I could hear her trying to talk but I couldn't understand.
After a few months I found out her name was Elsie and that she "gotten lost" and didn't know where "mummy" was. I became very protective of this child and she would regularly visit me and have fun in my room by playing games with my make-up and pulling out a fairy tale book in a hint for me to read aloud to her!
Soon though I knew that Elsie shouldn't be stuck here with me and that it was unhealthy, me spending my time making sure she was ok and talking to her. I soon decided to get my mum to call a close friend (June), who is a medium, to come and help Elsie to cross over. June came around with her friend and first told me I wasn't going mad and that Elsie was real. June and her friend helped Elsie to cross over, although sadly I wasn't allowed to be there when they did this. They thought Elsie wouldn't want to leave if I was there. Even though I wasn't there, they had a hard time helping Elsie to cross over, they kept saying that she was looking for me and was sad I wasn't there (that made me cry when I heard), but after some help they were able to reunite Elise with her mother.
It was a sad but happy day for me. That evening I had a dream of Elsie standing with a woman I knew to be her mother, they were both waving at me and smiling. The woman with Elsie smiled at me and said "thank-you for finding my daughter, I'll never forget it" I know know that I can help people, and although people think I'm strange, I'm really quite ordinary all things considered.
