In this post I will go over what I believe are the types of possessions:

Emotional Possessions- are possessions in which the influencing spirit (s) cause the possessed person to feel a certain emotion negative or positive, and feed off of that emotion/energy. These possessions are commonly ignored as depression or other mental illnesses.

Environmental Possession- are possessions in which the influencing spirit (s) effect the environment by causing objects to go missing or possible float around and even hit people. In addition, the feeling of an area can be affected by an environmental possession. Also, spirits can physical attack people with this type of possession, by even causing cars to hit people or car crashes (very rare but there is a few reported cases).

Mental Possessions- are possessions where a spirit influences a person's thoughts and reasoning processes as well as their senses. These possessions can cause a person to go insane or temporally insane. By doing this the spirit can cause the possessed person to attack and kill other people, or do other things it desires.

Physical Possessions - are possession in which the spirit controls/takes over a person physical body. These possessions happen mostly after the spirit has a strong mental possession. Then by using their control over the mind they take over the body and do with it as they please.

Free Willed Possessions- are the most dangerous type of possession since the possessing spirit (s) pretend to be a guardian angel or spirit guide. In these possessions the spirit acting as a guide or guardian tells the person false advice and eventually causes the person to do what they want by saying that the person will help the world or someone when the person is exactly only doing what is in that spirits interest. Basically, the spirit blinds a person with their beliefs/faith into doing anything. By doing this I believe spirits cause religious wars, and murders/suicides. In addition, in exorcisms the demon can pretend to leave but only take the appearance of an angel and either continues the possession as a free willed possession or some other type of possession.

Once again feel free to add anything that I missed.

Well it could be clairaudience, and it was a spirit that was trying to talk to you. Otherwise it sounds like the starting stages of mental possession but it must of last interest in you, you probably had too much positive energy in and around you. Maybe your friend created that positive energy by what he was doing and repeled it.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. I couldn't tell if the spirit had fully disappeared but nonetheless I haven't noticed its presence.

Yaaa, what he was doing is dangerous. If you threaten a spirit/negative energy with out truly knowing how to conquer it you just anger it and feed it. Especially if you threaten it with violence. Using christs' name with out knowledge would defenatly stir them up. But what the man in the suit said to you is also a lie. He used your friends negative energy to scare you, but he really can't do anything to you unless you believe it. The spirit won't go away and will probably follow you for life, but as long as you believe in the true word of the spirit inside of you and all around you the negative can't hurt you. I always like to note that negative spirits tend to pester you the most when good things are about to happen in your life.

I'm not sure he did much. He claimed to be able to banish demons which was the part I thought they were speaking of. He said he told them to leave in the name of christ and if need be (on his own time) 'kills' them with a sword, or he prays. When I told him what was happening he wasn't in my house, I don't know if you can even send a negative energy away if your not near it, he said he prayed and told it to leave in the name of christ.

I'm kind of a skeptic about him being able to do this. He seems to be a little naive about what he's doing, passing it off as if its nothing.

I have a question for you. One experience I had, I'm not sure what it was, it was an experience which influenced my mind more than anything else. It's like the voice in your head, it never told me to do anything bad, but it had a creepy eerie kind of energy. My friend tried to make it go away when I was telling him about what was happening and basically after everything she'd gone for a moment and when she came back there was another man with her and they were both very formally dressed and the man said "what your friend is doing is dangerous, he's just sending things back to do harm." in a matter of words-- I was wondering what you thought this could be, if anything?

the one thing you have to remember is if you're feeling possessed you had to let it, and continue to let it use you. If you think it has any power of you it will.

Well it sounds like a strong mental possession starting to turn over to a physical possession. So right now it is important not to let it seperate you from your close ones, it will try. And by doing that it get a full physical possession. Now to get rid, you need to keep hope and more importantly positive energy. My suggestion is praying to something that give you hope as well as use things that give you hope and make you feel good. If that doesn't work large group prayers produce high amounts of positive energy which should take care of it.

i believe I have physical possesion... It happened to me lastnite... And its weird cause your story just caught my eye... My fiance helped me out a lot when it was happening to me... All I remember was making a stiff drink... And then it took over me... I was convulsing trying to bite my fiance... Stickn my tongue out... I fought with my man for 5hrs... I work in a cemetary also for 10yrs... And now I can hear and see spirits... I can look at a lights anywhere and they will flicker... I can feel energy really strong at work... When I'm doing a funeral... I can tell if its a man or woman whos passed... The knock on headstones when I tell them to give me signs... I have been asked to help them... I have heard a lil girl crying... I told her to go to the light... And I haven't heard her anymore... But sorry for going on like that... I Need Help... I feel negativity around me... I can feel someone or something watching me... Please help... I don't know what's wrong with me... 😨 😭
