I'm not sure if I have mentioned this before in my previous story; I know this isn't recent at all. It's an on and off kind of thing that seems to happen more often at my job than at home or anywhere else.
On a regular work day I'm usually busy doing orders at the photo lab or helping with returns. It's not really common for someone to call out my name or really even say my name. I guess I'm not that popular at work:-/ but there are times when I'm walking to the bathroom or walking somewhere and I hear someone say my name.
Automatically, I turn around to see if someone needs me but there's no one looking in my general direction to notify me that I'm needed. Nor is there anyone directly behind me; close enough to call my name and for me to hear it. Sometimes it's not out loud but as if that person is just behind me enough that I can hear it.
With all of the commotion that goes on at work sometimes it comes out a little muffled but still clear enough for me to hear. Yet, there's no one there specifically that's calling my name. It happens more often at work than at home. I hear it home too but I've read that hearing your name called at home is like an audible memory that occurs through a known voice like your mom's voice. That happens a lot too.
But it's not like that cause I don't recognize the voice. I know that it's a man's voice. It's low enough like a whisper but loud enough that I can still hear it in a busy store. I'm not afraid of this voice but I want to know why. Why at my job only? Why when my back is turned? What does this voice want? I can't really hold a seance at my job to find out but I'm curious as to what this might mean.
