The Ringing In Your Ear

Recently I had been talking to a friend of mine who has similar experiences with ghosts and psychics as I do. We talked about our experiences and things we do when ghosts are around us. Then he asked me a question, the one that this little story is about. He asked me, "Do you ever hear a ringing in your ears?"

I said yes, of course, because sometimes out of nowhere I'd hear a ringing in my ear, the kind that sounds like... Say like the sound of electricity when you TV is on but not on any channel that makes noise, a channel like AUX or video. Or a ringing like the noise you'd hear when you bring a microphone to close to the amp, but quieter.

My friend told me that the ringing noises were spirits trying to communicate with me. And since I can't hear them, it comes across as a ringing. It sort of clicked after that. In my head I was going, "Huh, well that does makes sense."

See I still find myself scared and unsure of actually seeing or hearing the ghosts in my house first hand. I get nervous whenever I feel their energy when they're around. Recently I've taken to staying up really late, well past 3 am. I've noticed that ghosts and entities love to enter my dreams when I'm asleep around that time and I've taken to staying awake to avoid nightmares.

So from 12 pm to 3 am, I'm usually in my living room on my laptop either playing a game or listening to music. I always have headphones on with constant sound to block out anything else. Almost half the time I'm out there, I feel cold spots to my right and the energy that let's me know someone's there. I never really know who and I haven't really cared to want to know. I get nervous and shaky and try to put up a tough front by singing or laughing at what I'm watching. Sometimes I even tell the ghost that I don't want to be bothered right now, that I'm really into this. Usually it goes away, sometimes it just stays there.

So after my friend had told me that, I told myself, okay, maybe I'll actually try listening for a change. So sometimes, when I'm alone, I'll just sit back and listen to my surroundings, meditating a bit here and there to try and clear my head. It only happened recently this morning that anything significant happened.

I was lying in my bed after just waking up. I didn't really want to get up yet because I love staying in late and just dreaming up whatever my head can come up with. I'm a very imaginative person in that way. Then all of a sudden I hear this familiar ringing in my ear but this time it's accompanied by this sort of shift I feel. I feel like my body or rather energy is trying to shift itself into the right channel.

It ends after a bit and I feel like I should get up. In a way, it felt like to me that whatever was trying to talk to me wanted me to get out of bed. So I did. I didn't really think much of it and went on with my day. I haven't heard the ringing since.

I still guess at it but the feeling I got when my energy shifted... It just felt so right and good. It was like when you stretch your neck just the right way and you feel pleasant shivers go down your spine and all throughout your body. It made me want to close my eyes and... Well flutter is the best word I can think of. Flutter as in when a butterfly flutters its wings or a person flutters their eye lids. It's hard to explain but that's what it felt like.

It was a new experience for me and I'm glad to say I'm eagerly waiting for it to happen again. Any speculation or explanation for it would be appreciated, if you can.
