The first time I truly tried to meditate was just a few months ago, (I'm 15 now). The very first time I tried to meditate I couldn't sit still for more than 10 minutes; I don't think I was doing it right. Well when I looked up how to meditate I tried it, and well it was a weird experience. I read that you had to think about one thing in particular to enhance "powers". So I thought about me hovering over the vast oceans controlling them, and I was a bright white light. As I did this I had a television show called, "iCarly" on and I could hear ever little thing that went on, but the weird thing was I could see it too. Not like see it see it, I had my eyes closed. The inside on my eyelids were playing my little ocean scene. While some other part of me was watching the t.v. I not sure how to explain it. Though as all of this went on my body slowly was becoming non-responsive to my brain. I was barely breathing and my balance completely was turned off, so I fell over onto my floor. I could still see my room; see the guinea pig run around it's cage; still see my eyelid's ocean scene, and could still feel my body hit the ground.
It wasn't until 50 minutes later when my little sister came in and was shaking me to wake me up, but it wasn't working. Until she pulled my eyelids open did I spaz out and punch her that I woke up.
What does this mean? Or is the way all meditations are suppose to me? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, gentlecarrier
