I am 13-years-old and I have pretty recently have been able to sense energies. For example: I knew there was something very special about my girlfriend because I could feel it in her energy. Soon after we started dating and I felt that I found out she could see spirits of dead people. Not only that abut sometimes if I touch someones hand I can feel there current emotions.
I can also force my energy into my hands and feel my hands tingle. I can also see peoples auras if I concentrate on them. I can make my hands tingle easily if I meditate when I try to make them tingle like that.
I have known for a while that there is something special about me but I have never know what it is. I am only telling my story here because I have no one else to tell. My friends don't believe in this stuff and will make fun of me, but I have told my girlfriend but she can't help me, because I am actually helping her figure out her gift, and answering her questions about it. I know a lot about energies but I need to know what I can do with my gift, so that it won't be a curse to me.
What can I do with the energy in my hands? What does it mean that I can sense energies and emotions?
I know this probably isn't enough information but its all I can give right now.

My advice to you is to read up on natural healings/healers and see if this interests you.
I have many friends who are Reiki Masters, and I also have some friends who chose to use their abilities in other ways other then Reiki. Some use crystals to help them with healings, and still others have studied nothing and just use their hands to aid in healings.
I also know some people who use this energy in their hands and studied Matrix Energetics as a healing practice. You can also find out more information on these practices by searching the internet.
As for your girlfriend, she should also search out for information on the internet and find a support group who can offer her help with her ability. Same advise to you.

You are at least lucky that you are born in a time where this is more freely spoken of and it is so easy to find the help, support and information on these abilities. You both have marvelous gifts/abilities there, and I hope you can find the answers you are looking for.
