A Lifetime Of Psychic Experiences

Ever since I can remember I have had psychic experiences whether it be seeing ghosts, things that happen the next day, the next year or decade, knowing what has happened to missing people and how they died.

As I have gotten older the ghost experiences have settled, which I am thankful for because I don't think I ever got use to that. But the clairvoyant experiences have seemed to have strengthened. For example if someone comes up missing, if I focus myself on the person, I can sometimes see where they are. Unfortunately it's usually only when they have passed. There are also times that I can see what happens to missing people when I don't try. I can just be watching the news and a face will come up and then I will start having "flashes" and feelings (hence I don't watch the news often).

I can also meet people, just random people and I can pick up things about their past. Sometimes I can hit dead on like for example they were abused or other times I can just pick up that something major happened to them that they are not willing to talk about but has profound effects on their life.

I can get specific about events like down to locations but as far as like an address or longitude and latitude I cannot. For example the tsunamis; I had dreamt of it happening since I was 5 or 6 I knew it was a vacation spot, a beach, lots of people, hotels, and a giant wave taller than the hotels frozen at its height but the water was still rushing throughout it. No one was able to see it but me and I knew what was going to happen but I couldn't do anything about it. Funny how that translates out of the psychic realm and into reality i.e. You can't really do anything about what you "see". I mean for real, who is going to believe someone who says, "Hey everyone there's this thing that's going to happen and it looks like this but I don't know where it is" No one would believe you they would think your nutty.

So is there anybody else out there like me besides my family?

There's also this other dream I had since I was 10 but I have not had it in a while so I am hoping that means it's not going to happen. But it was about citizens and I guess militias teaming up against some other kind of military force and they were fighting over water. I could see people getting shot, men and women with guns crouched down hiding in cattails along the shore both sides were trying to take control of this area of water. Very weird. Hope that this one is wrong I really don't want to see it happen.

Anyway, if anyone else is like this I would like to know and also if anyone knows what I am supposed to do with this. Thanks

I don't see Ghosts but I sometimes hear my name being called when I'm in the shower so something. I also hear music sometimes at night when I'm alone in my room when there is no music playing and I can also hear noises sometimes and it does freak me out. Also I sometimes know things before it happens like Once I was in the car and I'm like I am sure I will see bunnys and I said it out-loud and the next thing I knew was that there was bunnys outside and Then my mom and I were like laughing and she was like wow how did you knew that. I also did once make a dream about something and it came true it was a dream that there was tornados in my town and that it was destroying my town. When I woke up and went upstairs the news were on and it was about a Village that got destroyed by tornados and there was pictures of the disaster and then I told to myself wow I knew that there was going to be something like this on the news because I saw it in my dream and also that why did I knew something before it happened if I couldn't do anything to help it not happen or like tell peoples before it happened.

I'm like that I can see ghosts and predict things for example I could put toast in the toaster and go into anouther room because just before it pops I can tell. Also I have dreams like you. The first one was I had a dream of a cello and long brown hair and the very next day my music teacher who has long brown hair got hit in the head with a cello.

Wow! Thanks so much! Its just really really great to know that there are other people out there who understand what I am going through and don't think that I am a total nut case. From what I can gather from what you have all said I guess I have some extreme introspection to do. Once again thank you all soooo much it really puts a smile on my face to know that there are others out there that can offer advise or relate;-)

I'd say have had quite a lot of these experiences too... I think that you should perhaps keep a dream diary and let your instinct guide you to a book in a library or shop - in the mind body and spirit section. I do believe everyone has psychic abilities and its in the soul not "mirror neurons" it aint even proven. Its a theory! I have faith, and let your soul guide you to the right books to help encourage your natural talents think of what is something you'd like to spiritually get envoled in, from tarot to palmistry to dream decoding, perhaps your senseing auras without seeing them, just have a little look in a book store and let your soul be inspired with what is on the shelf, just stay away from dark occult stuff... You were giving free will to do a spell on another is wrong, somethings are just ment to be and tapping into hell for a quick fix of self gain is not good for anyone. I'm sure your not interested in any of that anyway. But it does sound like you may have quite a good prohecy gift, nostradamus enhanced his by using tarot and astrology also staring into water. Just have a play with it and find out were your strengths are. I wish you all the best, contact me with any queiries xxx

I'm still trying to control all my abilities. There is times my third eye opens completly, it takes weeks to shut it back down. It gets really scary to see all the emotions and the different futures. I do my best not to let them get me down.
I do have dreams of people fighting over water, at least twice a week. I hope that doesn't come to happen. Anne is right its up to you on what you want to do.?

I can relate. I dream things that happen all the time. It's rather annoying sometimes because, like you, I don't know what I'm supposed to do with the information. It's not like anyone is going to believe me. It's also kind of frustrating because sometimes I feel like my life is on hold while I sit around and wait for whatever is going to happen happen. I also feel like a bit of a voyeur at times because I see intimately into other peoples lives in my dreams. I see their thoughts, their problems, etc.

I, myself, have considered going back to school to get a degree in psychology. I mean if I see so intimately into other people's lives perhaps I can use it to help guide them or heal them. Not to mention that my abilities help me diagnose people's mental disorders which is weird but... I have a friend who my intuition has been telling me for quite a while now has Bipolar Type II disorder. (really I hope I'm wrong but I rarely am) I've diagnosed people as having some form of OCD or OCPD and years later found out I was correct. (those initials came to me as a child when I was trying to understand why someone was the way they were. I didn't even know what the initials stood for at that time)

I think it's like Anne V says. Everyone has their own brand of abilities. You have yours. I have mine. I think I know how and what I can use mine for. I think you just need to figure out what you want to do with yours. I know that sounds easier than it really is. Good luck with everythign.

Your "gift" is that it comes more natural to you than most, but everyone has psychic abilities as it's part of the human experience. I was just reading an article yesterday by Ingo Swann where he talks about mirror neurons, of which we all have. These neurons are also knows as 'the seat of the soul' or as the New York Times states, "Cells that read minds." In other words, we all have these neurons that allow the sixth sense to function.

As for "what to do", well, your ability is inherent just like being able to walk. You can or cannot do with it what you like. It's more the question of what do you want to do with it?
