When I am scared, I sleep with a Bible in my bed. I agree that you should pray to God through Jesus. You can say the Lord's Prayer - it goes like this: Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins as we forgive them that sin against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. In Jesus name, Amen" That's a long prayer but it it is a guide for us to say our prayers. It basically means that in your prayers you should remember that our God is in Heaven looking over us, and that someday God's plan for us will come to Earth just like it is already in Heaven, you can ask for our daily bread - which means just asking God to take care of us each day, then you ask God to forgive us sins and you also ask for help forgiving other people of their sins, and ask God to help you from committing any more sins. And remember to end your prayers or you can begin your prayers by saying "In Jesus name" because our prayers go to God through Jesus. Then you can ask God to make the ghost spirits that are bothering you to go away. It's very scary, but you should say "I command you in the name of Jesus and God my savior to leave this place forever!" And then focus on that bright white spot in your mind that is God and ask him to take your fears away. I would not try to contact them or talk to them any other way. And don't be afraid to tell a grown up. Maybe a preacher or a priest can come and talk to you or say a prayer in your room to help you. Take care and remember God won't let them hurt you.

First of all, all children are psychic, some have the ability much stronger than others.

Firstly, you have to believe in God, I'm hoping you do. Do you know the Lord's prayer? The whole version. Please do not use
The short one eg. In the name of God I command you to go!. Too many people make this mistake and it doesn't work.

When your in bed, read out the Lord's prayer Our Father who etc.etc. Get your imagination skills ready (this shouldn't be hard) and imagine a BRIGHT white light in the shape a ball, now the ball shines this white light from the inside out and it's coming out of the sky. As its coming closer and closer to you, you see it as its getting brighter and brighter. See this ball of light around you COVERING you from the top of your head to the tip of your toe.
Imagine it visualize it and BELIEVE it is there. THIS IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT & most importantly it will help you and protect you.
Saying the Lord's prayer imagine the white light will ALWAYS keep you safe. Please then imagine the white ball of light at the top of your house - beaming down and around it. Imagine it being very bright and covering your whole house.

You only have to imagine this white light around you for say a minute nothing can hurt you and take a DEEP BREATH IN and HOLD IT for 7 seconds - then expel the air out and ASK your spirit guide (everyone has one) that he/she - whichever gender you prefer, the following:

Spirit Guide and Angels around me please keep me safe in my dreams and keep all ghosts and spirits away from me and my house. Keep me safe in my dreams and my travels and always return me home safely.

Also say this prayer every night:

Oh my Jesus have mercy on us, forgive us for our sins and save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven especially those who have most need of thy mercy.

We do all travel in our dreams and are visited often by spirits. This ensures you return back from your dreams always.:0)

This exercise might take a little while to get use to, but after you do it a few times, you will imagine the white light really quickly without even thinking about it for too long. If your having trouble seeing or imagining the white light
This might help:

* Pretend being in a room everything is white - the walls the floors the ceiling and there is a white light in the centre of the room, picture it being so so bright you can't look at it for too long - THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED TO BE IMAGINING - that EXACT BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT

* OR remember the last time you actually looked at the sun's strong beams of light and you look away because it is so bright - that is also a very good example of what you should be visualizing in order for the exercise to work.

Trust me the prayer, white light and talking to your spirit guide will be helpful. The whole exercise should take 10 minutes at the beginning then as you get better it should take you 5 minutes.

BE POSITIVE - wake up say a prayer - TAKE A BREATH hold it in 7 seconds and expel the air and tell your spirit guide to take out any ghosts and spirits that are inside your home.

if your parents do not share your gift they will be more concerned than understanding. You have the abilities of a medium. The nasty looking spirit needs to tell someone his story so he can be finished with this plane and move on. There may have been a murder or accident in or near the place you live. They are not going to hurt you. That is your fear talking. It is very very rare that a negative energy entity will choose you to bother unless, as I said, something happened to them there at that site. Grandma will always be there for you and you can decide what to do with your psychic ability. You can always pick it up later when you feel more comfortable with it.

Some of the people that write in, I don't think they're all psychic just because they say they are. But you, I think you have the gift. I feel for you. It must be terrifying what you go through. I would definitely tell your parents. Cushion the blow by saying: I have something that I need to talk to you about, but I am afraid you won't believe me. And I really need you to because I'm scared & I don't know what to do or how to handle it.

One thing to help you is talk to another psychic. Ask your parents if they will go on a web site with you about Chip Coffey. He's a true blue psychic & he helps a lot of kids just like you. And he helps the parents understand more of what's going on.

hi my name is amber I am fifteen just a year ago I was in your shoes, I had been seeing spirits for about 8 years and finally got so scared that I knew I had to tell someone but I thought that if I did they would think I was crazy. And then I found this web site. It helped me a lot and even got the courage to tell my parents about the ghost I see.

The best advice I could give you is to try and talk to which ever parent you are closer with. I decided to tell my step mom over my dad out of fear of his skepticism, and she helped me tell my dad.

Its very important to know that you are not alone a lot of us are going through the same things and we want to help, just don't try to act like they aren't there even when it doesn't seem like it its a wonderful gift that you just have to learn to control, I am still learning lol

My name's Mariah and I'm 14. I understand far to well how freeky spirits can be. I don't see them, I'm lucky enough to only sence them, but I pretty sure I can help you. From what I can tell, it sounds like your a medium.

Being a medium allows, or maybe I should say forces, you to see, hear, or sence the spirits all around us. Some spirits are nice, others are not. But it's the job of a medium to help them along to the next world.

Sometimes a spirit may seem bad because of the way their life was taken from them. Some are just totally confused as to what's happenning to them, they might not know that they're dead.

Some good spirits are afraid to move on, while others, like your great-grandmother, have chosen to stay to protect us.

It's up to you to decide what to do about being a medium. You could tell your parents, they might not believe you though. If you're going to tell someone, try to make sure that they'll believe you. Tell people who already believe in the supernatural. If your parents believe in spirits, tell them, if not, than it's up to you. I personally just told my mom because she's able to sence things too. But for her, it's only the spirits of people she knew before they died.

That brings me to your question about if it comes in the jeans. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. My mom and I can sence those that have died, but my brother can not. No one on my mom's side of the family besides her can sence or see anything that isn't of this world. No one on my dad's side of the family can sence things, but I have a cuzon that has taught herself to. So it's really luck of the draw.

The next time you see a good spirit other than your great-grandmother, try to talk with them. Or if you find yourself faceing down a bad spirit, tell them that they have no right messing around in your life, tell them that they have to leave.
