We have been studying energy work in various forms lately and I thought you may like to hear about some interesting results.
Janet, our psychic medium circle leader, is of a more mature age, (don't want to say "quite old" for fear of offending) and just before Christmas she decided we would dedicate one of our regular evenings sessions to be purely a night of fun and host our Circles Christmas party. We were going to move tables!
Perhaps a little eye opening for myself, as one who frowns upon esoteric symbolism, such as Ouija boards etc. But the evening was shrouded as usual in the love and the light and we meditated and prayed to Spirit as usual.
Okay, now the fun begins. Janet explained that we needed to raise the energies. She changed the ambient music playing softly in the background to,
Get this, George Formby! I bet you guys don't even know who he is! (I only know one of the songs!)
We were meant to sing along and lift/raise the energy and the spirits. I perhaps wasn't concentrating correctly as the whole scene was just too funny! I'm the young one out of the group, and I'm not young by any means! Anyway, just picture it! Four (middle aged plus) ladies sat around a pedestal table concentrating on the mahogany grain singing, "I'm leaning on the lamppost at the corner of the street until a certain little, etc." at the tops of their voices! We must have looked like some kind of de arranged coven!
Joking apart, the energy was present in the table which had accumulated from our individual, then combined intention/ will. This was apparent as electric like charges in varying colors, kind of lightning itself across the table top in flashes. A lot of red flashes, some orange and a few blue. At one point there appeared to me a glowing orange ball like light, deep within the wooden top of the table and for a moment I was absorbed there, I felt the ability to be able to scry within this light and could see figures becoming apparent. Who needs a crystal ball! However we had to sing again, this made me giggle, and the light was gone.
After several renditions and many minutes of concentration, the table did start to rock and roll. It is very hard work focusing this amount of energy and calling for aid at the same time. The table gently swayed with our singing and started to try and twist. But even the rocking was fantastically convincing of spirit intervention and concentration of energies.
I think the high humor and skeptical approach of myself and another member perhaps inhibited the table from being "slung around the room", which is the normal occurrence, says Janet! The skeptic (and I use this word very lightly as she is a consistent spirit medium) and I will be far more willing next time, and know that exercises like this when performed purely in the light and energy of good are never a dangerous pursuit.
Janet says the same about Ouija boards! She will NEVER convince me of that one though!
Having blonde moment!
