Bad Spirits

This started when I was around 5 or 6 years old and lasted for approximately a month. I was a kid then, NOT your type of kid who was healthy all the time and strong but I was that kid that ALWAYS got confined in a hospital. Well, then something UNUSUAL happened, after a long period of confinement. I got home. My mom says it happened every night for the whole 2 weeks during 12:00 am or 3:00 am. However, I only recall that this happened only ONE NIGHT. I woke up, not knowing why the lights were on, I remember that it was SO DAMN COLD when I woke up and everything that I look at, would enlarge and that I would just shrink, I was too scared to move so all I did was just shut my eyes, The next thing I know my mom is carrying me out of the room into the dark, somewhere in the house without any lights on, and then I didn't know what happened next. The next morning, my uncle asked me why I was crying loudly last night. I told him that I didn't know what he was talking about. Then I approached my mom, and asked her if I cried the previous night then she replied, yes and said that she was asking me the same question last night and that I would answer, nor say a word. She said that THE LIGHTS WERE OUT, THAT SHE DIDN'T CARRY ME INTO THE DARK, AND THAT I WOULD HAVE A FEVER ONLY AT NIGHT and that it would eventually be gone by morning. She said that it happened every night for the whole 2 weeks. Then she decided to ask her friend about the incident she suggested that she put rice in a sandwich bag and put it under my pillow and said that it was an evil spirit trying to possess me and that I was physically and spiritually weak at the time which I think is true because I really never had a thing for talking to God and also I am that not so healthy kid right. SO IF ANYONE KNOWS HERE WHAT THIS IS PLEASE TELL ME AND EXPLAIN. Until now I still don't know the detailed reason of the incident.
