I worked at a law firm, handling some probate cases. I had to deal with the loss of family members and one case I was working on was a man who had lost his daughter in a car accident. We were in the middle of the litigation process when he came in my office one afternoon, in tears. He told me his son, age 19, had died two nights previous, in his sleep. He was sitting across from me crying 'I have lost both of my babies!' I stood up when he rose, and I hugged him, crying with him. When I closed my eyes I saw a little boy, toddling, with his arms open wide and smiling. I asked the man if his son had any children, as I knew his daughter did not. He hung his head down, crying and said 'No'. I took his hands and told him what my heart said to say: "I do not begin to understand why you have lost both of your children, but I do believe that God has paved a way for you and your wife to devote all your time and energy toward a child that will need you in the future." He cried and hugged me and left.
Three weeks later the same man came back into my office. He was all smiles and told me that when they had his son's funeral, a young woman came up to him and informed him his son had a child, one year of age. His son did not inform him because he was afraid he would be disappointed in him. I asked him if he had a grandson, and he said 'Yes!' and he was on his way to meet him. He came by to tell me I was right when I told him that there was a child that would need him and his wife. When I hugged him during his time of sadness, I saw the child and KNEW he had a grandson. An attorney in the office could not believe that I had predicted the child, even though I told him many times, I am psychic. One child lost, one grandchild gained.
It gave hope and that is what that man needed to continue on.
I know It takes courage. For people always talk themself out of it as they are afraid to be wrong.
What a blessing when he came through the door confirming those words were truthful and prophetic. Good job.
