Dreams of Teeth Falling Out

This happened not too long ago. Actually this happened twice, one in January and then in February. Around earlier January, I had a dream that my teeth had fallen out. Just a little background info, in my culture (I'm Hispanic) it's said that if you have a dream about your teeth falling out someone is going to die.

Well, I had this dream and I didn't think much of it. Then about two days later, my friend had called me to tell me that one of our friend's grandfather had died. He had been sick the whole week, and they had said he wouldn't have that long to live, but I didn't even know that my friend's grandfather was in the hospital, I did know he was sick, I just didn't know he had been hospitalized. Now I didn't know him that well though I had talked to him the year before at my friend's birthday party.

The next incident happened in late february. It was similar to the dream I had previously had, just a different location. I don't remember where, but the one thing I do know was that my teeth were falling out. The next day after the dream, my friend called me to tell me that one of my old teachers, who had retired at the beginning of the school year due to some health problems had passed away. But one thing that I didn't get about this dream was that it happened after he had died. So I'm not sure whether this would actually be considered a sort of foretelling. And again, I didn't know that he had died until my friend had called me.

So what are you views on this? Possible foretelling of the future, or simply a coincidence?

Hey!

Hate to say this but dreaming of teeth falling out is a terrible sign. My step-mum had a dream that her front teeth just fell out and she thought it was nothing because she was due to go to the dentists a week later. After she'd gone she couldn't stop thinking about the dream and brought a dream dictionary. I said dreaming of your teeth falling out means a close friend or relative will be in bad health or pass. About 4weeks after she had the dream her mum died of a heart attack.

The beginning of last year my friend came to me with a bad dream that she kept having because she knew I was into spiritual stuff. She told me that her front teeth just started to crumble and fall out. I told her that it might just be a little accident that happens later, and down played it because she was freaked at that. Around 4-5weeks after the dream had started her nan died of and illness, it was a shock because they thought she would get better. I spoke to her after and mentioned that that probably was what the dream was for, she said yes I've just put two and two together.

This monday my other friend spoke to me on the bus, she was clearly worried I asked her what was wrong and she said she'd had 'The Dream.' us lot hadn't mentiond it for weeks but still. I think she's going to be alright though because she said she dreamt that she dreamt her teeth had slowly fallen out, so I'm trying to research what it means to settle her mind.

I've been trying to research this whole teeth dream and see if there is such thing as fate. Because so far from the people around me it's gave them about 4weeks notice, and I want to find out if it's for a reason that they've been warned. Not just to soften the blow but if they could do something. I've been seeing if I can find patterns or others that it has happened to for future references, because I don't think this will be the last time someone comes to me for help in this department.

Teeth

To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.

To dream that you are brushing your teeth, signifies your level of confidence, struggles and aggressiveness. You need to look out for yourself and your own interest.

Teeth

Dreams about teeth and losing teeth are common. Often the dream is troubling, although it does not contain the same fear or anxiety as a nightmare. In the dream, the teeth often are a concern only to the dreamer. Other characters in the dream either do not notice, or do not care, about the loose teeth.

A 19-year-old woman reports: I am in the bedroom combing my hair. A guy comes in and asks me if I am in a relationship. I say no. Then, he asks me out on a date. I say yes. He is about to kiss me and I ask him to hold that thought for a second. I go to freshen up a bit. When I wipe my mouth, my teeth begin falling out! Every one I touch falls out. No bleeding, just empty spaces in my mouth. I go back out of the bathroom, concerned, but the guy doesn't notice. Meanwhile, I'm a wreck.

In waking life, the woman reports feeling conflicted about ending a relationship with a man. She would like to renew it. Potential embarrassment is preventing her from doing so.

Dreams of losing teeth are often dreams of embarrassment or potentially embarrassing situations. The parallel waking experience could be summed up in the phrase "losing face" publicly.

Other possible teeth-loss dreams may come from physical sensations such as grinding your teeth or having particularly sensitive teeth.

Do your teeth get knocked out or do they fall out for no apparent reason?

Hi bam-218, Your relative is right. I'm a dreamer and I come from a family of dreamers. I have kept logs of my dreams (the significant ones since childhood). Dreaming of my teeth falling out has always mean a death of someone I know... Usually family, relatives, friends, co-workers, etc. Somone whom my life has touched.

hi in different countries they believe they have different meanings. One country believe when you see teeth falling out it means your lying. I guess now and then they change the meanings. When I was on that website it told me a different meaning they must of changed it but it was right that is how I knew someone was ill or near to death. I think you should read up on it. Maybe look in books or other websites and see if they have other meanings. 😊

Thanks Katie for the website. After the dreams that I had, I did do some research to see what it meant, but it's sometimes confusing with all the different meanings they have. Kinda hard to see which meaning fits me.

"My Teeth Are Falling"

Dreams that your teeth are falling out are the most common dreams we here at Dream Moods receive. Common dream scenarios include having your teeth crumbling in your hands or your teeth falling out one by one with just a light tap.Such dreams are not only horrifying and shocking, but often leaves the dreamer with a lasting image of the dream. So what does it mean?

One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is natural and healthy.

Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.

Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.

n the latest research, it has been shown that women in menopause have frequent dreams about teeth. This may be related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine.

Traditionally, it was thought that dreaming that you did not have teeth, represent malnutrition which may be applicable to some dreamers.

hi the day after I had that tooth dream where I had to fight these 3 spirits my teeth didn't fall out but they wouldn't come out. The next day I went on this website had a look and see what my dream meant. I hadn't ever had a tooth dream so it was really usual for me. It said if your tooth don't drop out it means someone is ill or near to death now they have changed it to this In the Greek culture, when you dream about loose, rotten, or missing teeth, it indicates that a family member or close friend is very sick or even near death. Which I think is wrong!

bam_218...Sometimes your spirit part knows that someone that you know is close to death and the "tooth" dream means that you are powerless to do anything about.

Hi I have wrote about it and its called tooth dreams. Its in the Clairvoyance / Remote Viewing category. My tooth dream could of been different to yours. I've been psychic since I was little and I get dreams which mean something, tell me something and which come true. I get these dreams all the time.

Your tooth dream could mean nothing but my dreams always mean something.

I also forgot to mention that I have had other dreams about my teeth, where I can actually feel them tighten, like really tighten, and it's obviously uncomfortable. I don't know, but it might be the plan of getting braces, don't know. But these dreams haven't, or at least yet, been before any major happening.

I have had dreams of my teeth falling out but I never thought it meant anything. I just hate dentists and I guess that would have been my nightmare since I like my teeth. If you think it means something and if its in your culture than maybe it does relate to you in some way.

When something important happens, it's like dropping a rock in water. There are waves all around... Past. Present. Future.
