The dream started with me lying in my bed. Garrett, my uncle, was in a white box in the left hand corner of my dream. He was wearing white. In the bible it says those who are worthy wear white. I was sleeping in a bed, and Garrett kept saying from the box, "Ali wake up, you need to wake up, I need to wake up, Ali wake up" So I "Woke up" - still in a dream - and saw myself sleeping in my bed. I scratched my head, and said, "huh, I need to wake up..." Garrett kept saying from that box "Ali wake up, I need to wake up, you need to wake up, Ali wake up, ali wake up" he kept repeating it.
Finally I woke up from this dream. It was a weekday. That weekend I found out that my uncle - my best friend for life - who was only 22 years old, had died on the day I had the dream. Some people say it was him talking to me. Some people say it was just my soul helping me to cope. It wasn't just random either. I had remembered my dreams before, since I love dreaming.
Another thing is also, that I have never had a dream where someone is literally talking to me. He was speaking to me in my dream and in real life. I wish I had woken up and called him, but I wasn't able to because at that time in my life I was in a facility (kind of like a rehab) but it was lockdown basically - I was 16.
I've had a few dreams but nothing like that one. I had a dream of this old picture garrett and I were in when we were kids and in my dream it was moving. We were laughing and we both waved to me in my sleep (the picture was moving). We were so happy and smiling, then I woke up, those dreams make me smile though. I had one recently of me getting to hug him. but nothing like that one I had.
No one else in my family had any dreams like that. I just wish I had been there for him. (oh... he died in a car accident) driving on the opposite side of the street racing a friend or something, wasn't wearing his seatbelt
www.myspace.com/ylorat if you want to see pictures of him -.- Thank you, Ali
