I have great power as for happiness it comes from the heart. I wonder if I gave up my power I will be happy. The answer will be "no". My power is a part of me and I will be incomplete without it. If I am going be truly happy I have to know what my has to come from the heart. Power and Happiness are two independant conditions. People believe that if have power you will be happy and if don't have power you will be unhappy. I have a sister she has no abilities and she is one the most unhappiest person I know. You can be happy with or without powers it is matter choice and finding it.

I am psychic and I am what you call a feeler or sensitive. I have seen spirts and ghosts and can also feel things all the time. Once when I was in a casino as I was walking through the place and passing the people I felt everyone, there were chills through out my whole body but it was hard for me to tell if it was from the living or the dead but it was overwhelming. I have all kinds of strange things happen to me and I rarely disscus it with people for the fear they will not understand or just think I am plain nuts! I am glad I found this site to ask questions and share my stories. My dreams come to past also, sometimes I dream so hard its hard to wake up, they are always in color and everything has a meaning and then I see it come to light and there is my preminetion. I keep a dream journal so I can keep track on what is going to happen. I have had out of body experinces also and that's another story!

ok first, I know a lot of people have told you this, but you're not crazy.
Second, you had a precongnated dream, which is basically a dream that comes true. What you saw around your grandfather's head was probaly his aura. The color of white on an aura means 'pure' so it's likely that your grandfather could have had a white aura at the time. The reason you could still see it is because his soul might not have left yet. It's like when a scientist pronounces you as 'dead' but then you come back to life. Your heart beat has stopped, your breathing, your pulse, and brain activity, but you can still come back as far as an hour after 'death'
You're also an empath because you can 'feel' other people. I can sometimes do this, only it works better with dead people.
Also, as for the smells, it sounds to me like auraic scent! This is awsome cause I've never read another persons story where they could do this. You see, most people have colors when the get a persons aura, but I can smell it and therefore determine if I find the person bitter, sweet, or just plain "ick"
Anyways, I hope things get better for you!

Yeah I noticed that no new stories have been posted for a while... I'm sure there must be a reason.

Anyway, I was going to comment on your third point, because I can sort of relate. Most people get approached by randoms on the street occasionally, but it happens to me all the time. I get a lot of weird people with problems coming up and talking to me, and sometimes I feel really terrible because I'm just not qualified to help them. My sister is also like you. People know her for five minutes, and then proceed to tell her their life story! I have wondered if this has something to do with our energy. I think that people are more sensitive to the energy of others' than they realise. You know how you just meet someone and you like/dislike them instantly, without always being able to explain why? I think people sense things about others to different degrees, but we all seem to pick up something. So we're all psychic, but the more psychic you are, perhaps, the more people and/or spirits are drawn to your energy. People obviously feel that they can trust you.

I was told by a psychic recently that I'm able to sense spirit energy (though I can't see/hear anything) and when I told her that she said 'you're very sensitive, that's why the spirits are drawn to you--and they think you can see them. One day you'll be able to help them, but you're not ready for that yet.' Maybe you can relate. If you're drawing people to you, then you're probably attracting spirits as well--that's what I think.

Hey everyone, I wanted to enter another story... But they haven't been allowing stories lately. I've had a few other things that have been waying on my mind lately!
1) I will randomly hear my name called or voices. I will ask my husband if he said something and he always looks at me and tells me "no". I will also randomly get scared or feel panic. It's really weird... I don't know what triggers it, but sometimes when I enter a room or when I am alone. But it doesn't happen all the time.
2) I tried meditation like everyone was suggesting, and during my first time I thought of blowing a bubble around myself and focused on my breathing. All of a sudden I was at a car crash. I think I it was on a freeway here in Tennessee, but I cannot be sure. I saw the people standing outside of the cars and saw that it was a brownish, maroon colored buick and the front end was smashed. I quickly snapped to, and felt an urge to look online to try and find it, but had no idea how to go about it. So I still have no idea if this was something that happened, about to happen or just a dream.
3) Lastly, people tell me everything and anything. I went the other week to go for a physical at walgreens, and I was in the office for 45 minutes. Not because I was taking my physical, that was over with after 15 minutes. The other half hour was the lady telling me how she got a divorce months ago because her husband cheated on her while they were seperated. She told me about how he threw a phone at her because she looked up his phone records and all this other crap. I am sure people open up occassionally to others, but this happens ALL THE TIME! People will know me for 5,10,15 minutes and bamb they will open and tell me everything. I am a early preschool teacher and my co-teacher has told me everything from what meds she takes to her childhood. I have known her for 4 days! People like the person at walgreens will ask me for advice on what to do... Like I have known them for years. Why is this?

Can someone help me with these three things? Does that have anything to do with my g'pa? Ugh...

I in some way had a similar situation to the grandfather situation. I was 11 years old and my great grandma refused to go to a hospital but instead went to my grandmothers house. She was dying from cancer. She never wanted to die in a hospital. We visited for 3 days in a row. On that night I fell asleep. I had a dream about my great grandma, I was in a meadow, it was so clear, it was bright and sunny. My great grandma sttod in the middle of the meadow smiling. I ran to her and hugged her. She only smiled, but then she said "I'm going to have to go now. Please don't cry. It was a good life." I was screaming "No don't leave me!" As I cried I had looked away from her. As I looked away I saw my grandma crying in the distance. I came to her asking "Whats wrong" She screamed hysterically "She's dead! Oh God! My mothers dead!" She ran away in the trees. I turned around and saw her, I tried to come to her but I couldn't. It was like something invisible was pulling me back from getting to her. I awoke, just before 9:00 a.m. Later, I got a call from my grandma, she told me my great grandma died earlier. I asked when, she told me she looked at the time right after she died, becuase she was in the room. And it was 9:00 a.m...Not 9:05 or 9:03...It was for sure 9. I'm sorry for your loss and you should do further research on the last one, get a few books or search the web. Its good to have more then one source. 😉

I've had a similar experience when my guinea pig died. I felt her presense while I was in school and felt her love. It's hard to explain to people who haven't had a similar experience. I felt her say good bye in my mind.

Though that I developed a different connection. I can feel loved anytime I want. I think she taught me how to do that through her death. We are all loved. I know this because whoever's love I feel, loves everyone else.

Some people/animals we meet are here to teach us things that we can't always accomplish on our own. Try to feel that love. You might be able to develope a connection or talk to your grandfather. I haven't made any contact but I was busy with homework!

Sometimes when someone is close to death, they can leave their body and give messages before passing on. You obviously have an ability of precognition since you saw him in a circle of light (light of the otherside that he was going to eventually go to). Perhaps he only talked to you because of how connected you were to him in those last few days and that you spoke to him regardless of people saying that he couldn't hear you. While in spirit we have more freedom and close to his time, he had the freedom to visit you and tell you that it was all going to be alright.

Just Now I was starting my account and I was accesing my email when my computer started to freeze and it said the internet not working and I got mad so I lifted my finger up to the computer screen. When I did this my arm got the freakiest little lump and it hurt really bad but I kept my finger touching the computer screen. Then I pushed the little lump towards the screen in one sudden motion, in less then a milisecond the screen looked like nothing had ever happened. It stopped malfunctioning and just did exactly what I told it to! I felt the energy leave my body! What the hell is going on right now! Pleeeeaasse tell me

If you can hear or see or smell thugs that others don't then jbhave two theories as to what they could be. Either you have a connection with the othersude or your grandfather sends them to you as signs to let you know that he's okay or to calm you downif things aren't going right. I too thought I was going crazy for a long time... I would go to school and people would sit next to me and I would start talking to them and the more they talked even if it was a topic about apples I would get a sence of know them... By the time the conversation would be over, mind you it could be a paragraph or less I would have a ninty percent chace of being right about know them, after talking to them I would be able to say there past presnt and future it was scary at first when I predicted my sister getting seriously injured if she broke up with her boy friend. But now I have a sence of all those I have met... Its like now I have met them I will always know what they are doing when and where... I moved away not too long ago to live with my mother who can see the dead far greater then I but my friends back home... I kind of know what they are doing...

Is this normal for some one who can do this?
And how can you get in touch with spirt guide...?

yea, it's weird. When I truly try to concentrate... To me it seems harder to do! Otherwise, when I just let the "inner" me tell me something... Or when a feeling is strong I am normally right. For instance, if I try to guess a number or a card... If I concentrate and say a number I am normally wrong, but if I say whatever is pulling at me at the instance I am normally right.
I have another story that I think I would like to share instead of putting here... I would love some imput:)

i totally get why you don't know who to talk to, I was the same, I'm the youngest in my family, my mum is ill and my sister is living somehwere else, both of them have the abilty to see people past and dream of the futer know things to, my mum she dosent embrace it, she blocks it so much that she can't bring the block down anymore an my sister she's the oppisite neither one will talk to me about it (unless my mums drunk or its real late) I reckon you should embrace what you have instead of doing what my mum does and block it, its wonder gifts you have, even though it can be hard it can be real important and rewarding, your not crazy or loopy don't worry I thought that to and really it just advances when its ready to or that's what I've found, couse since I was 11 its just all sort of been thrown on top of me, getting more and more each year now I'm 15 an its just amence, the only thing I would say is try not to force it let it come natraly and start practising to block becouse even though its draing you most likely will need it in the end, I do when I'm in school with bout 1,500 kids and like 90 teachers, with there emotions and things brushing past me. Meditate to should help you prepare for advancement (though I can never meditate.)

The trick to meditation is to find something that works for you, and that you feel comfortable with. You don't have to make a big deal out of it, just incorporate it naturally in to your routine. I often meditate on the bus; people just think I'm sleeping ^^
Don't worry if it takes you a while to get the hang of things--you can't learn to run a marathon in a day!

I was taking care of my grandmother and I always felt my grandfather was there. My grand father been dead for years when my Grandmother passed on. I felt my grandfather leaft from my house with my grandmother. It was great sense of peace and completion. I dreamt I was speaking to my grandfather before the night my grandmother died.


I saw my grandmother chakra slowly fading out to watch that is very painful. It was the time I wished I wasn't so gifted. People call me morbid but death is a transition for the next adventure.

Thank you so much! Yes, that helps:) I really didn't want a short cut, it's just that I am scared that I won't be able to meditate like I am "supposed" to. But, I will definitely give it a try. Again... I am willing to try anything if it helps me to tune into whatever I might have.

If you're empathic then it's normal to feel overwhelmed at times.

As for the light, it's possible you saw the aura, but I think maybe you should ask someone with more experience. I still don't know exactly what the colours mean.

Is there anything besides meditation? Meditation is a discipline that focuses your mind and helps you to be more in tune with yourself and the world. What more would you need? I'm quite sure that most people with strong (and controlled) psychic ability practice some form of meditation. Please feel free anybody to correct me if I'm wrong.

There are a lot of misconceptions about meditation. You don't have to stop all your thoughts, and/or get into uncomfortable lotus postures. (Some may disagree, but that's my opinion). Meditation is all about focusing your mind. You can focus on one thing like your breathing; the movement of the air past your nostrils, or the expanding and contracting of your chest. You can focus on counting, or a phrase, or an affirmation. For example, sometime I repeat to myself: "May I be filled with loving kindness, may I be well; may I be peaceful, may I be happy." I didn't invent it, but it works well for me. Other times I focus on counting, or I visualise something. And if your mind wanders, because it will, don't get stressed. Meditation is all about coming back to that original thought. The more you practice, the better you'll get. Trust me, I never thought I'd be able to meditate, as I have an extremely active mind. If I can learn to meditate, anyone can!

As Anne V says, being psychic just means "tuning into things more subtle." If you can learn to shut off the chatter of your mind, you'll be more open to receiving other information. Sorry, there's no other shortcut that I know of, and if there was, it's probably not a path I'd want to go down. ^^;

First, I want to thank everyone for all the information! Secondly... How to I enhance these things? Recently I have been feeling a strange pull to know more and do more, but I have no idea where to start. I know that some people said I should meditate...I've never done that before. How will that help?
How do I go about furthering my abilities when I have no one around to try them out on?
I have been awesome at feeling what other people are feeling. That is easy to do for me. But the other things like trying to "be" that person (which is only when I close my eyes and really focus), or seeing colors around people which has only happened with my grandfather. It was weird... To answer Adryn7 the color was 3-4 shades but they were all white. The inner was a almost golden white (if that makes sense)...as it went out the color was a bright white.
Please, any information on what to do besides meditating would be AWESOME! One more thing... Is it normal to get overwhelmed easily?
I am a early preschool teacher, and if I feel their energy too much it overwhelms me and I started using their "bad" energy and my mood changes to them. Um, it's different then just being in a bad mood... I almost feel like I can't help it.

you had a very nice prophetic dream about grandpa. This is called clairvoyance. You are also empathic meaning you feel like the other person for a few seconds.

The circle of light around his head was his aura. The smelling things others don't is called clairstinkiness. Just kidding- it is clairsomething but I don't remember but the spirit world is filled with fragrances only some of us can smell. Sandi and I came home one day and smelled cherry cigars in the house. Turned out a car accident happened near our house and the spirit came to stay with us for a while. We believe he smoked those little cherry flavored cigars and that is what we smelled. There is no other reason for that smell. Everything was locked up, no extra keys etc. As a paranormal invesitgator I have smelled a lot of things some pleasant- others not and some can smell them and others can't.

You are fine. You have psychic abilities which you should pursue if interested.

First of all, I'm truly sorry for your loss, it sounds as though it was quite a traumatic experience for you.

It seems as though you're going through some sort of 'psychic awakening', I'm not really sure how else to describe it. You communicated with your grandfather's spirit before he died. You had a vision of the future. You sometimes know what other people are thinking. Clearly you have psychic ability; you're not crazy!

What was the colour of the light that you saw around your grandfather? Can you see light around other people too, or was it just on that one occasion? Because you may or may not know this, but seeing colours around people means that you can probably see their energy or 'aura'.

you are a healer my friend. You can also probably tell if someone is lying and telling the truth. Like reading a person if they were a newspaper or something. Samething when I was young I looked at my dad for a split second and I knew he was going to die and a few days later he had a heart attack and past away I wasn't shocked I had no emotions that he died that was weird. Your grandfather was just saying goodbye for the mean time. But to enhance your gift meditation is the one. It tunes your 6 senses. There's no rightway or wrong way of meditating just as long your in a relaxed state and while meditating surround yourself with bright white light. Just pretend you have a piece of chewing gum and blow a bubble around you. That's a protection bubble or armour from bad vibes.

You have a talent of dreaming the future. I say you work on that like I did and no your not going crazy, don't say that because you have something unique. If you think that you did all this don't, why? Because your talent from what I can see is that you can see the disasters that are waiting to happen. I'm very sorry for your loss but be strong like I did and good will come to you maybe your guide too. 😁
