Astral Hitchhiker

I have been consciously astral projecting for a while now, but lately I feel like something is trying to keep me bound to my body. After I have been asleep for about an hour, I feel like something touches me, and then I wake up. When I wake up, I look up and see this "man of war" jellyfish-looking entity floating gracefully above my head. It then floats off through the ceiling and is gone. I have tried to touch it, but it just vanishes. This has happened to me at least 10 times within the last 4 weeks.

I have tried to photograph it with both camera and low-light video cameras, but so far, no luck.

I had a previous astral travel where I was walking through a forest, and I came upon a black wolf who was standing over his fallen mate. He hardly noticed me at first. He was grieving for his mate. He finally looked over at me and was so sad. I could feel his pain. He looked directly into my eyes, and I knew exactly what he was thinking. He wanted to join me on my journeys, so he wouldn't be alone anymore. Of course, I thought that was a great idea. Who wouldn't want a huge black wolf as a traveling companion. For a couple of weeks, he was right there by my side, or at least he was always nearby. I would whistle for him, and he was there. Not long after this was when the floating entity showed up. Keeping me from consciously projecting.

I wondered at first if the wolf was really something else playing on my compassion in order to follow me home, but it felt loving. Not fear based.

Has anyone else had this experience, or know how I can rid myself of this hitchhiker?

I read this article and that is why I thought it may be a bad thing... Http://www.victorianparanormalconnection.com.au/Psychic%20Protection2.htm

Talking about smaller energy attachments that connect through your auric fields... These entities can look like man-of-war jellyfish, using tendrils to connect through solar plexus chakra to begin with, and rapidly spreading through the other chakras.

[at] RevSilverson... You may be right. I may be manifesting the wolf as protection in my travels. I have never been fearful in any of my astral travels that I am aware of, but seeing this energy manifest right in front of me may have me a little spooked as well as excited. I can sometime hear the energy "pop" when it is materializing.

I only ask the entities that are not love based to leave me. The ones I feel comfort from... I don't mind them staying. I have felt spirits around me for years, but recently I can see them as well. I can astral project while awake, or directly from a dream now... Either way works for me. The jellyfish shaped entity usually shows up when I first wake up. At first, I was afraid of it, but now I will reach up and touch it. I can feel a tingling from it's energy. I find myself hypnotized by it's gracefulness. However, it is still kind of creepy to wake up to find this entity floating directly above your face. That is why I was asking if anyone else has seen these.

I like AnneV's response. If it is more than a hitchhiker, this is when you will know it. I am of an open mind and don't like to assume we know what entities are really about. If the engery mass was preventing you from an astal stroll, maybe it had good intentions and could be one of your spirit guides gently suggesting you are not ready to project if you are going to pick up ramdom other energies and invite them to join you. The wolf has his own journey.

you have me confused. I have taught astral travel for many years and it is always when I am awake. You can perceive an out of body experience while dreaming but you cannot prove it. Dream state is much different however it can be an important lesson for you to learn possibly even prophetic. I have seen these energy "man of wars" (a very interesting way to describe these energy forms) up down all around. They are pure spirit energy. Did you think spirit would always be a fullsize human shape? With the billions and billions of people who have died before us, in large form they would force US out! Sometimes they are full size to calm us when they appear but in true form they are energy emanations. They grow from tiny points into whatever they wish depending on the ambient energy available and can turn back into tiny points when they leave.

So were you awake when you encountered the wolf? If NO, you are being told something else- power animal, loss of romantic relationship etc. The wolf brings you power and strength something you might need right now.

The energy globule you can ask to go away and usually it will. It is another variation of spirit appearance. Sometimes they come like a human body and gruesome or healthy, sometimes they come younger than when they died and sometimes they just emanate energy and you can see it.

You may be manifesting the wolf to protect you from the energy emanation.

Love and light... Always

Never heard of such thing. Maybe you are dreaming of past experiences of a past life. I don't know-- But I don't want to say "daydreaming" because there is a entity found.

Have you simply asked the hitchhiker to go away? If you're not in a fearful state, it seems there is little there to keep its attention for that long. How interesting can it be to keep interrupting you? I venture to say it will go on its own but it wouldn't hurt either to ask it.
