Evil Visitations In My Sleep

So I'm pretty freaked out. Please be serious, okay? It started a couple years ago and has happened four times. Incident 1 happened some years ago. The first three incidents happened within a year and half of each other. I'm laying in bed asleep and then I go into this half-asleep, partially awake state. My eyes are closed but I can clearly see my room exactly the way it is, down to the position I'm laying in and the way the covers are strewn across the bed. The only difference is that there's this orange glaze over everything, like everything in the room is colored some variation of the color orange. I'm just laying there sleeping when I feel a hand on my leg. My first thought is that there's some pervert in my room that's about to be in for the fight of his life, but then... You know how you just know stuff in your dreams? So the thought occurred to me that the hand on my thigh was simply that, a disembodied hand. It crawled up my body and then stopped on my chest and it started to push down. I couldn't breathe and I just knew that I was breathing in reality, too. I knew I had to get it to stop, but I couldn't move or speak. So I'm struggling to do something to get it to stop and I scream "Get--" I wake up right in the process of yelling to find myself in my normal room, screaming at the empty air, "-- off!" There's not much to do but roll over and go back to sleep, so I did.

Incident 2 happened a fair amount of months later. I'd thought that Incident 1 was a one time thing, so I hadn't really though about it since. I go to sleep and wake up in this half asleep, half awake state. The room is exactly the same, down to position I'm laying in and the movie playing in the background (the movie is frozen). There's still the orange glaze. This time I'm on my back and I can feel something standing beside me, but I don't see anything. I try to sit up (I can't move, as always, so that wouldn't have worked anyway), but whatever it is grabs me by my shoulder and pushes me back down. I get the feeling that if I just lay there, it won't hurt me (don't get me wrong, whatever it is definitely isn't good), so I stay still and it starts petting my hair. Then I wake up, freaked the hell out. The next few months go without incident, so I put it behind me.

The time between Incident 2 and 3 is greater than between 1 and 2. I wake up. I can't move. My eyes are closed but I can see everything, except this time there's no orange haze and my sister is in bed beside me (up until now I had thought that it'd only happen if I were alone). This time, nothing is frozen. My sister is moving around in her sleep and the movie playing in the background is actually playing, though I can't hear it. I feel something beside the bed and I can see this pure dark space looking at me and it's trying to pull me off the bed. I'm not budging, though. I know that if I let this thing take me, it won't be pleasant, so I fight to move, but of course I can't. I try to swing my arm to hit my sister so she can wake up and then wake me up, but I can't move. I continue to struggle and then I just wake up, freaked out once again.

Nothing else happens for at least a year and a half, maybe a little over two years. Incident 4 is strange because it happens YEARS later and it starts out as a normal (ish) dream. My dream is strange, though. Up until now most of my dreams are pleasant, nonsensical things. But in this dream King Triton has to save me from getting crushed in an underwater ship junkyard, my father takes me to WW3 reenactment to prove a point and I get chemical burns and strive to do something about it, and a bunch of other weird stuff. So all of this stuff is going on and my friends and I are in what appears to be my old middle school. The school isn't abandoned, but it's dark and no one else is there at the time. So we're in a room and all of a sudden Chris Hemsworth walks in (whom I adore). Keep in mind, this is still the dream bit. So I'm thinking, hey this is cool, but I'm not going to talk to him because his married with kids, so blegh. So then his "brother" walks in and this is where things get... Bad. The first thing that I notice are his eyes. They're this translucent blue, almost white and his pupils are huge, but it's a dream and he does look like Hemsworth, so I just sort of mentally shrug my shoulders and move on. Some people have weird eyes. The thing is that he looks totally real. Most people in my dreams are abstract, but I could clearly see every detail of him. He and I go outside for whatever reason. I don't remember what exactly was said, but he was trying to flirt with me and I was politely turning him down. I do remember him saying, "You know you want to."

So I randomly, for NO reason, start leading him down an empty hallway (which I would never do). As I enter the hallway I say, "No one ever comes down this hallway at night." There's this weird noise and I suddenly get the same feeling as from the other incidents. I can't move. I feel something (him) push me. My body lifts off the ground and starts flying down the hallway. I can feel the hairs on my neck stand straight up. I come shooting out of the hallway into a dark room. I can't talk, but I keep up a mantra in my head of "YAHWEH" because I do believe that there is power in the name of God, then my eyes pop open and I'm awake. The hairs on my neck are still standing and it takes me a while to calm down. It just seems like every time it happens it gets worse. I don't know what it is or what it has to do with me, but it needs to stop. I haven't slept in my room since and every time I try I have nightmares. Any thoughts?

I have had 3 dreams of being possessed by something... A demon if you believe in that... Last night was my second worse. The complete feeling of dred and hopelessness and terror... Hearing and smelling everything, feeling all of the pain in my body as my limps are folding and twisting while unable to untwist them or move. It's the worst feeling I've ever felt. I always dream of the room and the position that I am sleeping in and I always wake in the position that I dream I moved to. Last night I actually scratched my husband when a voice from the dream told me to. He yelled out and woke me. I then heard the voice again in my ear that was laying on my pillow loud and clear and this time I was definately awake. I was bothered by it all day... I assume it's because I'm extremely stressed however it doesn't change the residual hopelessness and dred I feel even after awaking. Do you feel like the dream tainted you when you wake or do you just feel the emotions shortly after you wake?

For years I had a similar experiance-after my mid twenties it seemed to fade. And while most people would call it sleep paralysis, it is not much comfort while it is occouring. Sometimes diet can effect it, as well as stress and interupted sleep (R.E.M. Rebound). But it does feel like something dark or sinister is present. What I often found helped was when I awoke I would pray the Psalms in Hebrew. I would joke that the sound of that would scare any nightmare or demon away. Sometimes a nightly ritual such as praying, asking God's protection, doing a devotion, and praying for others can help as well. In the Anglican Church we have a service for this before sleep where we remember the presence of God with us, but the important thing, in my opinion, is to talk to God from your heart. There is much worry in the world, at times it is good to rest and leave our cares with the Creator.

Yikes I am glad that something led me to read your story. I experienced that quite many of times throughout my life since I was baby. Things got escalated when I moved to Savannah, GA. After I met the Jehovah Witnesses, I started to experience quite a lot of spiritual attacks. The most terrified experience I had was 7 disembodied came out of the wall and kneel all around me, one of them tried to sexually touching me and I felt the strength draining out of me while I was fighting with them and been rebuke them with the blood of lamb (Jesus Christ) and it took me about 10 times to say the last time stronger to make them to flee. Number two terrified me was the incubus attack in my dream which it did happened. I didn't had an answer to that one for years until I watched Celebrity Ghost Stories and that singer mentioned about it so that caught my attention and felt something is telling me that I had experienced the attack so, I looked it up to find out how the incubus attack the women, indeed it did happened to me by disguised as my ex boyfriend. These things do exists and I strongly believe they are real and are no jokes to dismiss it. Yes, it takes the name of Jehovah to rebuke them, indeed the name of Jesus/ Blood of Lamb can work also. Always read the verse before you go bed: Philippians 3:14 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". It helps to strength me before I go bed knowing that demonic spirits or evil spirits are ready to attack me any time.

I change my mind, a lot can happen over 4 days. If you really want to get rid of it, jsoap2 can send one of his protectors over to help. Trust me when I say it works, a demon was trying to posses my body and was taking over my life and I was terrified like you but don't worry I don't think they have attached themselves to you but I would get rid of it. For the first night in ages I haven't had a nightmare and I can actually sit in my room without feeling negative energy all around me. Honestly, the demon had been with me for a really long time, this is one of the best things I have ever done 😁

Maybe you have accidentally astral projected and found yourself in the astral plain. You probbally have invited entities into your life thinking that you were dreaming and during your journies have met up with them. But be aware as those entities crave life and will do anything to take it from you. In all truth an reality there are also demons that travel the astral plains, looking for souls to possess and the only thing they want is power and control and to cause pain. But alway remember this they can't harm you if your link between your physical body and astral body is strong and to keep it strong is to stay as aware as possible and don't get lost. Also with the power of god nothing shall harm you.

Certain demons attack only dreams and can sometimes get in your mind and affect your physical world. Pay no attention to it and eventually it will go away. I am a powerful psychic and I can get rid of it over the internet if it does not leave you alone. All you would have to do is comment back and let that demon through and I will take it from there.

I don't quite know what's happening to you but I go through a similar thing, but only I'm awake when it happens and I feel a hand reach into my heart and try to pull it out. All I do is think of God, I pray and I think of love and everything good in the world. I think of a protective white light and cast it around the room. I want to fill it up with love. Although this is a little difficult at first because they are trying to attack you but with me it made them shrink away. Because I figured the one thing evil cannot handle is love. I too have nightmares but if I hold a copy of my bible they go away and I have a peaceful night. I pray to God and I pity the devil as he tries to get me to play his games. I think you were right to shout out his name when you did. I hope this helped and good luck:)
