My OBE with a Hawk

I'm new here and thought I'd share this. Years ago, I was lying in bed listening to a meditation tape using guided imagery. I focused on me as a fish swimming against the current of a river then, to my surprise, a hawk dove down and grabbed my physical body and the two of us were flying high over mountain tops, through clouds, etc. I was not dreaming but very aware of this exalting experience. Is this also considered OBE?

Also, I have had several precognitive and vivid dreams that have come true several years later. I am about to tell a friend about my experiences and abilities but don't know how to classify what I am. I know I have been blocking a lot of my thoughts and feelings out because I don't know what to do with this information.

There is a lot of unbalance in my life right now and all of a sudden, things are happening on a spiritual level for me. I'm very aware of what is happening but it's making me feel unsettled because I don't open up and share this part of myself freely. It's like I'm creating my own pain. I'm a very introverted, private person and I feel like, why is this happening now? How does anyone find balance when feelings, visions, and psychic experiences are coming hand over fist?

Geez Flutter - now I feel like you are worrying. Don't. I've been married over twenty years to a very logical, nice guy over twenty years. He worries about a lot of stuff. I'm not one of the things on his list. I assure you. I do worry about him some. I know he keeps up with me. So it's okay right now.

Ouch Flutter. I've gotten some weird calls - but not like that one. Usually I'm in those places. I have a thing about my name. I like to state it right off, without fear. I didn't on the internet (came close), but the internet is really creepy and I've heard all the warnings so I didn't. That still bugs me. Everywhere else and everyone else I do and will tell them. What is that internet thing about - news scary stuff? Anyway, I am glad you helped her. I have told myself over and over, remember the police. That occurs to me like days or a week or weeks later. I was brought up not to snitch and take care of stuff on your own. Then I saw that other people got hurt. Then it got me to thinking that perhaps going back to watching TV or sleeping isn't the best thing. Now it's a little late. Most people won't challenge me. If they do, well we'll see.

[at] GlendaSC, I would not of given him my name, would of tried to help him however. I once got a phone call, this gal said HELP ME HE IS GOING TO SHOOT ME CALL THE POLICE. I have no caller id, but can call on my own phone to the last number that was called to me. I did that. I got the phone number. Called 911 told them what that gal said at this number. They asked if she sounded like she was in danger I told them YEs AND IF YOU KEEP ASKING ME QUESTINS SHE COULD BE DEAD BY NOW.
Soon as I got off the phone, my phone rang, you could tell that the phone was off the hook some place and I could hear this girl pleading for her life... I had my son go to the neighbors and call 911 again, that I was going to keep the phone line open, to hear what I could hear.
I heard a gun go off and the girl was not screaming for help no more.
I heard a mans voice say THAT IS WHAT YOU DESERVE". I heard noises, but no sounds from the girl.
The next sound I hear is two men. I heard someone say HELLO, HELLO are you there? This is the police thanks for calling us. I never said another word. I just hung up.
I later learned the girl was shot by her boyfriend, but not killed. And the phone call to me, for what ever reason, I didn't know her, saved her life.
So I really can't say why these things happen.

krq - I hope you don't mind me posting here on your experience. I have a question to all. I pester so much. Always have. But, does anyone else get off-the-wall phone calls? Really. I get them now and then. Sometimes two in a month. Then none for a few months. Then another one, or maybe three. Always different types of people. Women like me or men not like me. I just got one. It has been an odd day. Totally. I wasn't surprised. Some man, with a black, southern accent, very nice and intelligent, phoned. He lost his phone number to the +++++ Probation Office. My city. (I almost wrote where I was but didn't. Hate that.) I told him that this was a home number. He asked my name. I told him my first and last name. He was a nice person. I could feel it. Some woman was screaming at him in the background, mean stuff. He needed help. I did know that. I told him that I would call information, 411, and find the number, but to tell me exactly what he needed. He told me the official name. Then I told him to phone back in two minutes to give me time. I called and got the number but it wasn't a city name but the state, SC probation office. Then he phoned back. I thought he might not. I always think that. It was painstacking for him to write the number down. I write this stuff quickly. I figure in his way that he is smarter, he sounded very smart in his way, and I called him sir. But, I'm use to these weird calls. People in trouble. My number was nothing like the one he needed. The area code and first two digits were the same. Nothing else. I wanted to ask him why he called here. But, he sounded a little embarrassed as it was so I didn't ask. He expressed gratitude and I just said no biggie. It is always that way with these phone calls though they are always different. Oddly, at the end of the second call back to get the number, he said, "God bless you..." I expected it: I've heard it before and it still shocks me, but it's such a minor deal to thank someone. Perhaps he is just so much smarter than me that he knew to call me and let me feel good doing this little thing. I had felt like this was a wasted day. My son is home sick today so I'm staying here with him. Now I'm glad. Does this make any sense? Do others have this stuff?

Edmund - can you believe it? My shoulder is STILL bothering me. My hub thinks it might have popped out of joint and gone back it. When I move in, (it happened to him years ago in a motorcycle accident), and you can hear it pop still. It's my left one, and I'm right handed, so I guess that's good. Tomorrow I'm babysitting for a friend. All the kids are fascinated by me. Little ones always have been. I'm pretty tired from my first two. Thank goodness my third is easier. This is subjective. I've had grandparents and babysitters tell me how hard it was for them with the first two. Well, I've rested up some. Time to put myself out there more I guess. People overwhelm me a bit honestly. Need, need, need. And I see it. You can't ignore it if you see it.

krg... When you say "me as a fish swimming against the current of a river then, to my surprise, a hawk dove down and grabbed my physical body and the two of us were flying high over mountain tops" you are working out your struggle... The fish fighting the current is you fighting the current of change that you are now experiencing and the hawk part is representitive of your feeling to get above it "struggle" I wouldn't fight it because... Its a psychic way of working out and overcoming many of the day to day problems and... Much more... It works really well and is a lot cheaper than a therapist. I think your on the right track... Keep dreaming... I use the technique myself !

krq - I feel the very same way. I think that feeling (confused)just doesn't end. We always feel out of balance I think. It's just how we deal those feelings that matter. I like to try to get in touch and help others limp along like me. I've had OBE's. As a logic person, basically, if I had not had them, I would say bull it all. As a logic person, I can't truthfully say that now. This really is a happy thing, OBEs, but a little overwhelming. But my experiences were a little frightening and very far so if your experience was an OBE and you envisioned an eagle helping you soar, that is pretty nice. Perhaps you even had a real eagle, who knows. As strange and weird as I still find them, OBE's do happen. It still blows me away sometimes. I've had several. Numbers don't count; it's what you see when you fly. I just flew on my own. I'm very independent natured. My last one was very very long and I got help. That was special too. I can't move beyond that one. I still want to think about it. But, I think in light of them, we each need to try to understand what it means. I mean - what does it mean to fly - to really leave our bodies and still exist. It's like our bodies are attached, but more a hindrance than anything.

hahaha how does anyone feel balance, good question, humans live to be balanced, it is our life goal our ambition that we hope one day to master. Just take it easy, try relaxing, be more understanding of yourself, and don't be too hard on yourself, realize that you are a great person, and stop trying to think what everyone is thinking about you every second, be proud of yourself.
