I have known I was "sensitive" for as long as I could remember. Night light and TV on to drown out the constant sounds being made and the light to help with the ever present feeling of knowing people were looking at me.
I would drive by certain places like old houses or cemeteries as a child and be terrified and refuse to look at them. But, had no idea why.
Now, as an adult, I know it is called Empathy. I can also hear and see things, always could, but was too afraid to drive into that.
But, I guess, there is no real refusing it. Every time we moved, a new spirit would ALWAYS occupy our home. My husband got irritated one day about me always attracting ghosts.
My question is, I tried meditating on my own to open my 3rd eye as its called, not a good idea. It brought way to much energy into the room and now something I do not know how to deal with as an inexperienced medium/clarvoiyant/claraudient. I see and hear them, but, not much I can do. But that's a whole different story and some may or may not believe me. It's a weird story and until it happened to me, I really did not think anything think this existed.
My question has to do with Medium-ship Circles. Should one always join one starting out? Does it really help? What is it exactly and what does it do and what do you do in it? Whats it's purpose? I'd like to keep some religion in anything I do, and someone says they use St. Michael and the Archangel's. I would like to do something very similar. I am really interested and want to enhance and open up my vision so that I can " SEE " when I want to with my eyes wide open, at the drop of a hat and then turn it off, also be able to get control of my Empath abilities as they can be extremely painful and exhausting. Right now, My " sight " turns on when it wants to and my " hearing " is a little better, but still is a little on the whim. But I want to be safe and in a controlled environment and know how to do it safely.
I live near Richmond, Virginia. Are there any Good Circles around there? I'd appreciate your replies and experiences with circles. Thank ya.
Thank You,
Becki
