Why Am I Hearing My Name Called So Many Times?

So for the past week I have been hearing my name being called while I am doing work or listening to my favorite songs. I have asked my family and friends if they have called my name and they look at me like I am stupid. But I have read some other stories that deal with talking to ghosts and the dead as such but I just remembered this also happened to me when I was in 2nd grade.

So I have never heard my name be called on so often. The voice varies by a few tones.

1) It's an early 20s late teens voice (male)

2) The same except its a female

3) a low voice except not a deep deep one and (male) and last but not least

4) voices that sound like young children 12 13 years old.

As I have said, I have heard them talk to or make contact with us but not continually call someones name. Are they trying to warn me? Help me? Hurt me? Or Trying to make contact with me? All the voices sound cheerful or happy and calm. It only occurs when I'm focused on something I need to do or when I am extremely relaxed.

And does dejavu and clairsentience have anything to do with this? Could it be a family or friends spirit calling me for help. Or is it my spirit calling for me. I'm only saying this because I am trying to understand this.

I am now done with my question and I can't wait to see your responses on what you think it is.

Now I have angel voices warning of dangers usually in semi sleep state. Late I have been getting warning dream wake up. Now other voices can be demonic you have to figure it out. Pray out loud and see if the voices stop. I get different voices. Sometimes an male voices warning me of something. Other times female alto angel voice calling my name loud. Waking me up from sleep. The voices scare me. When I pray a lot then I get these warning dreams or warning wake up call. Voice yelling my name. It only happens in semi sleep state. Or when I am sleeping. Then I wake up. These wake up voices are different that hearing voices around me. I know I have heard evil spirits before talking voices. I know the difference.

ok so how about when they call your name in a noisy hallway and you can "clearly" hear your name being called? That is my main concern lol and thanks for all the good answers:)

Concerning the voice, I have experienced it recently too. I believe it is actually quite simple at times, serving as a little nudge to get us back on track. Perhaps we have overlooked something, forgotten something we once believed in. Maybe walking down a wrong path.

I think that is my answer, walking down the wrong path. For the voice I had were calm but very loud. So they might have tried to get my attention for a while, but I have been to distant.

Can also be someone which is able to contact you now, as you have expanded your mind to allow realms beyond to reach you. Guiding you, or being guided by you. Writing is a good for contact. Or if they are talking in your head likened to telepathy. They might read your answers by you just thinking them:)

i had been told that when you hear someone calling your name its because a spirit needs you or is trying to mess your head. Also if you hear someone talking and you know that person, that person might be in danger or needs something so you should check that out. Good luck!

oh my gosh ever since I was 13 I'm 15 now, anyway some weird whisper will call my name and sound like my families voice when they whisper, it says shelbie shelbie, bit** b**ch like 10 times, and says hey shelbie hey hey hey shelbie hey, I don't know what it is, and I heard a little girl crying but I could only hear her, and I seen a vision of a dead woman, I don't know what this is about, I'm religious so I count on God to help me out. I hope he improves my 6th sense.

I think not only when you're in relax state. I heard the "hiiiiiiiiiii" sound when I was having spicy food dinner LOL!

I used to have this name calling thing all the time, almost always between wake and sleep times. I think it's because we are relaxed and it's definitely spirits or something trying to contact you. Waken you up. I even used to feel someone poking me on the shoulder saying wake up! Lol!
Now I hear laughing every so often, sometimes reallly loud in my ear and makes me jump:) sometimes it's just a bit of laughing in the room. Probably just your ability to hear these things is increasing, making themselves known to you. So pay attention and see if they want to tell you anything or start exploring it more.

Sorry to post this here but wondering if anyone can decipher this dream I had... I am sure it was a lucid dream right before I woke up because I felt someone sit on the side of the bed, felt the movement of the bed of someone sitting down, then what appeared to be a female angel in gold and white sitting there leaning over me and saying in a very calming reassuring voice that it's ok and that they are almost done with me, like "they" were working on me! My body. Showed me a bunch of numbers like percentages showing me that I am almost 100%, then showed me something like I could see inside someone's body, muscle, cartilidge, bone, blood like I was travelling through it... Then it was over and I woke up. Anyone? Anyone?

LOL I used to hear this a lot when I was kid. But recently while I was eating I heard a jinn with the sound of lady said "Hiiiiiiii..." not Hi but hiiiiiiiiiiii... Which is crystal clear and I have no idea where it came from. Like my ear was surrounded by 7.1 sound system speaker.

I was like wow who was that. Not really scary they are just sometimes a little bit naughty and watching your reaction after they used their magic to do cross realm interaction. Sometimes they wanted their existence to be known by human. So if you didn't believe in jinn/ghost (not dead person's soul) so they were just letting you know that they exist.

Relax, they are also live thing similar like human but only they have abilities that humans don't possess.

I have had the same thing happen to me especially when I wake up in the morning at time it's a young girl and others a deep voiced man.
