Hearing A Voice Callling My Name?

Hi islvoter, I have experienced somewhat similar thing to what you said.
It happened to me a few times. I fell asleep at evening many times after a tiring day, but I was trying desperately NOT to fall asleep, I was in between being awake and asleep...
And at that momment I heard a strange noise in my head like as if someone's tuning the radio stations... A strange electrical noise.
What do you make out of it?
I have never seen ghosts or spirits by the way. Thanx. Waitin for your reply.

I hear voices calling out my name often. The voices would sound like its from a family member or from someone else. Even somtimes when I hear only white noise or vaccuming with a loud vaccum I hear them voices even more. I'm not sure if its my ears playing tricks on me or it could actually be real. My own thoughts on what I think it is could be part of a premonition or could be from a spirit.

I've heard my name called too. I never did find out who it was.

Look up hypnagogic sounds and you will find that, when you are between being awake and asleep, they will happen--random sound, visions, feelings. Often, it will be something like the sound of footsteps, which might freak you out. Your brain is trying to test if your body is truly asleep. It is one of the safeguards of the body to make sure you don't physically "do" the things of your dreams.

Likewise, your brain will cause your body to move, to test if the body is truly relaxed.

You find these things a lot if trying to project (out of body projection) when you want to get a mind awake / body asleep state. It is not easy to do, just because of the hypnagogic sounds. It's a rare person, hearing footsteps when they think the house is empty, that won't wake up from sleep when they hear that.

This could be someone who passed or a guide--or some test. It's really impossible to tell unless you make it past this point.
