Can I See Auras Or Are My Eyes Playing Tricks On Me?

I think I can see auras. I don't see the color, but I see like a clear outline around someone's body and I get so mad because no one around me can see them but me. I have been able to see this as long as I could remember, I would at night put my hand over me when I was little and I would see a like an outline around, and when I moved my hand it would follow. It amused me for a while and I forgot about it for a little. When I asked people if they had seen what I was seeing they said no. This outline had different thicknesses to it like sometimes it would be really thin, medium, or very thick. Once like when I was talking to my mom I stared at her forehead for a long time and I just saw a burst of yellow just pop out. Then a few weeks I got to look at myself in the mirror and I saw a thin blue outline around my body, first I thought it was my eyes so I blinked a few times and rubbed them, it was still there. After a few days later I went to New York and I started to see this blue lining around some people. Now it has been coming up more often and when I look at my teacher I see a clear outline. So, I got fed up with this and started to do some research and I found this website and hope someone could help me because I don't know what to do. Is this some kind of gift? If so how do I like turn it on or off when I want to and not scare myself again? Also, how could I improve my ability? Why does it come and go at certain times?
