The Dream Of Deaths

Ever since I was 10 years old I can remember having dreams and feelings of doom. When I was younger my parents and family didn't want to listen. Until one day when I was 12 an spending the night with a friend. I had a dream that her brother had got into a bad fight with some people and he had shot and killed one at a store up the road from her house. He then came home and was shouting that he wasn't going to go to jail and trying to hide. This is the point I woke up in a cold sweat and asked her mom to take me home. On the way home she asked if I was ok and I told her about my dream. She told me it was just a dream and I would feel better later. When getting home she asked to talk to my dad alone. She told him what I told her and he apologized and said I had an over active imagination. I retold my dream to him and he said its just a dream. The next morning around 7 am my friend and her mom were at my house. My dad told us to go play as he was talking to her I asked my friend what happened. She told me my dream had come true and she couldn't stay at her house for awhile. I can't say how scared I was. Over the next 10 or so years I had other dreams nothing big. Some little ones about changes at school and work. 2 nights ago I had a dream about being a little girl again. I had dolls all around and a big tree that was my favorite place as a little girl. Last night I went to bed with my husband, it was just an ordinary night. I woke up crying hysterically. I told my husband my father had died. In my dream I tried to go to work and couldn't. He told me it was just a dream. I can't shake this feeling. I have spoke to my dad and he assures me he is ok. I am just so terrified that my dream will come true again. I am now 28 though and it has been years since a dream and feeling has affected me this way. I just wonder if it is going to come true again. If there is anyway to stop it.
