Strange Childhood Experiences

When I was growing up I experienced a couple of strange thing that I believe to be psychic, although they don't happen anymore, and I just thought I'd share them.

The first one was when I was about 8 years old. I used to go to a childminder's house after school. Being a shy child, I usually just sat in my childminder's living room, watching TV and keeping to myself. One time I could see a gardener in their garden from the sofa. He was up a stepladder, trimming their hedge, when all of a sudden I saw him on the floor, screaming in agony for help, but I just sat there. Not sure why! The next moment he was back up the ladder, as if nothing happened. I didn't see him climb the ladder, he was just back up there.

The next incident was much scarier for me. I think I was around the same age. My parents took me down to Hove to visit friends/family. I was sitting in the back of the car looking out of the window. The road we were driving on ran parallel to the beach, but behind some buildings, so every now and then there would be a gap in the buildings and I could see the sea. Through one gap I saw a massive tidal wave towering above the buildings and it was gone by the next gap. My parents didn't see it. I've just been revising for an Earth Systems exam tomorrow, which reminded me of this incident. What makes it scary is that the south east of the UK is actually sinking due to isostatic rebound!

AnandaHya,

I see what you are saying... Anyway you might 'qualify' that next time as It got me all confused... Something along the lines of... You stated this in '_____' thread /comments and I wanted to ask you about it...

It just seemed really random and 'out of the blue' to ask those questions on this story...

And now back to are regularly Schd Comments for this story...

Respectfully,

Rook

rook I was commenting on one of her other comments, just thought it would be more appropiate to ask her on her story page then on someone elses.

Its my inquisitive nature. People either love it or hate it.

Like I stated earlier feel free to ignore the questions but I'm willing to listen if you need someone to talk to.

AnandaHya,

Please double check which experiencs you are comenting on as this one has absolutly nothing to do with anything you asked about...

Alicebeth,

Sorry about that... Do you know if the Gardener actually ever fell? (not that I wish he did, but if so then you saw a brief glimps of the future on that day...)

As for the tidal wave...it's sounds as if a slower, more gradual process is at work on this part of the coast than a tidal wave. I wonder what this 'flash' could have been about? (Anybody?)

Respectfully,

Rook

sorry if the questions are too personal, my friends tell me I need to learn tack, you can just ignore me. I'm used to it. But I tend to be very open about myself and my life and forget others aren't as inclined. You can read my story and profile. My tragic flaw is that I'm brutally honest and persitant which is annoying to some people.

wow what pretty interesing is about the gardner you saw that was lying on the ground crying for help and in the next moment he was on the ladder like he never fell that must have been pretty weird.
