I've just stumbled upon this site with help from my fiancé, who believes me when I imply I'm psychic. I'm quite used to hiding it. I'm a 21, almost 22 year old female, and I have the uncanny ability to "hear" the thoughts of others. I often hear it so well I answer the thoughts verbally. I also suffer from chronic migraines. They usually happen because I've over-exerted myself somehow, and I can sleep it off and be fine.
This past week, however, I haven't been getting much quality sleep. I believe it was on Sunday night into Monday morning when this happened. My fiancé and I both woke up in the middle of the night to an awful sulfur smell, and I was trying to ignore it and go back to sleep, which I did, but then I had a quick out of body experience. All I remember of it is looking at my body from maybe 2 feet above it and thinking, "Did I just get ejected?" I'm not sure how to describe what I did next, other than I dropped right back into my body, and thought very strongly, "No, this is MY body, you can't have it and I won't let you have it." Then I went back to sleep, again.
I'm not sure if this is important to what I've just described, but it's semi-important to me. I'm usually very good at lucid dreaming, but I couldn't control the dream I had directly after that, and I think it had something to do with the out of body experience. In it, I was left in a car with my grandmother's dog. The car was parked. I don't remember if the keys were in the igition, but next thing I know, the car is moving backwards. It was at that moment that I realized it wasn't real, something I sometimes have trouble with when it comes to dreams, but when I realize that I can control it. I couldn't control it. I could only control myself. I wound up kicking the door to the car I was in open and throwing myself out. The dog I was with didn't make it. I was able to control my dream once I was out of the car.
Is there any link between the out of body takeback and my strange psychic ability? Thank you in advance.
