All Things Happen For A Reason... Right?

Personally, I do believe everything happens for a reason. Maybe not in the same sense that you're referring to, but for example... Say maybe you had a desire to meet someone with similarities to you and so you did because you put out that energy with your thoughts and you received what you wanted. Prayer and magick basically have the same concept. We create with our thoughts, words, and actions. We all have the ability to manipulate energy. Everything we do has an effect.

You say that you feel as if you're not doing what you were meant to do, right? Well, if you truly believe in fate then everything you do was already planned ahead of time. If fate exist then you are already on your path because fate is unavoidable. So, if that's the case you'll eventually come across it again. This time don't run from it.

Do you also have a sense of urgency? As if you're running out of time? Is it possible that you're confusing urgency with destiny? Perhaps, there is something you do need to do in this lifetime to reach a higher understanding in the next life.

It comes down to choice. We all have choice, beyond that, is where you start dealing in fate. If you ask if its meant to be. Than look no further than the choices that you two have collectivly made. For if fate works its hand in your life, it does so in everyone elses too.

Maybe asks st michael the archangel to help and protect you, or do a protection ritual, I think sage helps with getting rid of unwanted energies too I have read, in the end its really up to You... He might tell you to do bad things but I suppose You need to be the stronger person... Good luck with it, but st michael is great protection...

There are many who feel, or even know, that they have a job to do during their incarnation, they have "been sent for a certain task". This is not just a mind game as one of the commentators thinks, it is a reality.
The words "I think I have to impress someone" have been misleading some posters. If you had written you feel there's a presence that watches you and seems to want something of you, a task to accomplish, but you are not sure which task and how, they would have understood.
I am sure what is demanded of you is not to give a good "show" to some spectator, but to do the right thing; and that the spectator you feel to have must be some angel or spirit guide.
You mentioned you have past-life glimpses. Reflect about them and their relationship to your present reality, perhaps they will reveal what is demanded of you here and now.
You named a major problem - that you tend to flee when a serious thing is wanted from you. So if you train yourself not to run from difficulties but to go ahead and struggle for success wherever possible, you do the first step to accomplish your true task in life. In short words: be a man!
I won't repeat here what nearly all posters would say "learn to meditate" you surely know that, or already do that... To someone like you I'd better say, be aware of your surroundings, see what is out of order and if you have any possibilities or potentials to set those things right DO have the guts to try - no matter if you fail or succeed.
Acting like this will surely "impress" your spirit guide the way needed.

And this is very importent I am sorry to all on here for I do shed tears some of you very good people on here might have had crappy summers do to me for the the fact I found out that I was being ussed and from the gifts god gave me bad came for bad things had me making bad things all summer to use all over and I didn't even know it.1. Shadows but not like other for they could take name posses grow extream off screams take your breath away put show up peacefull and do a lot to mind and body the first was a spirit named Styph for he was the one who picked on me in the begings of this by goin by to names for he was to men which he was saying that because my soul was divided. For he and other thing I made screwed with meny some had wing and some could shape shift and and steel voices and make those of who the stole there voice go horse. This past week was the end of all the bad andwhat make me cry is the fact that the reason I know so much about the thing you guys started talking about was because I made them and they screwed with you all and I'm sorry specaily to a young man in Cali. And quite a few others in texas. I'm so sorry. The made me so sick that my thoughts werent even mine any more they tryed to use me to make a strong things so god couldn't touch man had to fear and it had nothing to do with hell and lucifer it all had to do with to demons and a bunch of spirits who knew about my gifts before I did and they even had some one collect spirits from places. It all almost killed me before it ended god had to start to kill me of for he didn't know if I would make it back so my ears started to close shut my mouth got sores and my speach slerd, I started to go blind, and my brain started to fail, for speak no evil hear no evil see no evil Blind Deff and Dumb. I found my way back I never go down with out a fight and god wanted me back so he killed off the one who screwed with my own sone and put the whole plan into work his name was Styph or aka Quan, for he was a native american spirit who go power from me then try to claim me for him self. For they day he finaly left he posssed me and I couldn't do hardly any thing but try to stop what he wanted he was trapped me for he wasn't lucifer but new for he stole my way an my words he used my mouth for his riddles and rhymes about man and every time some one came towards me with bad emotions or screaming which there was a fight going on at time it made my body juice up for my strength increased for I was apply to throw a table across room with the flick of my wrist just because my girlfriend was screaming for the real Ryan to return. And my body felt know pain. It was bad so I forced myself out side down the road and forced that ting to pray and final that thing its self shoted to god that not even he wanted to live for the gifts it had werent from god and from me so it would make it week when used with out a body and finaly I was apply to cry again and he was gone and now god has me good for the last 3 day every pray I make comes true like that I can sing like I couldn't before and I feel like I can dance like an angel and don't want to stop and the last time I felt like this was a year ago before I had a bad fall and smaked my head and all my dad had to say was laughter and the angels said that was they day I started to die. I promis god is cleaning the mess I made and he has forgiving me for man lead me to my actions now I hope you others can to. Oh and to let you know how strong these things where half way throw the summer a big stuff panther the size of a dog that my son had magicly disapeard and we looked all over and the other day I was home alone in the bath room an when I walked into the kitchen it was sitting in the middle of the floor and that thing wasn't apply to be found in the house for month an half. I am sorry I ask you for forgivness for my holy father kept me around and has forgiving me. And I'm so happy I got my orginal gifts back I lost half year ago from beingings sick the gift of my eyes the gift of my ears the gift of mouth and the gift of my hands I always knew I was specail because of those but never this specail they say it is the nostrudomis effect. Over the summer a have gone through so meny gift and in the end its seems to be the best ones are the ones I started with so what if I can here thoughts or make things move with my mind with these gift people always love me exspecaily women just like before sweet sensitive, protective and goofy. maybe in a past life you have to sacrifice yourself (or something very dear to you) and now you regret it so the past life is trying to make you accomplish its mistakes but you must remember that this is YOUR life and you choose which way your going down the road of life:) good luck

Well...what is it you feel you could improve on?

Being the "best you can be" is somewhat subjective because we are always growing so we can never really reach this famed "full potential" because that is like assigning a grand finish line in life.

All things come with time and if you feel there are things you could improve on then go for it.
If it really matters to you then you should do whatever you feel you need to do.

I don't really know, but its like I'm not the best I can be and I can make everythink better.

I am not so sure that everything happens for a reason; sounds way too much like predetermination.

However I wouldn't be so quick to rely on anything paranormal or supernatural to explain your desire to impress "someone".
Maybe there is some aspect or perspective your subconscious is trying to obtain and you aren't sure how to do that.

Maybe you are hesitant to acknowledge that maybe there are some attitudes or mindsets that aren't serving you and they need to change.

Maybe you could tell us exactly what it is you are after... What sort of impression you wish others to have of you.
