New Abilities

Over the course of the past year I have been researching how to receive a psychic ability. I think I may have finally gotten mine. A few days ago I had a dream about communicating with an evil spirit. I don't remember much else, it seems as though the whole thing was erased from my memory on purpose. The next night I was in my basement and a tv suddenly turned on and it was just static, nobody else was in the basement. Then a few days later I went into my basement again and a bunch of light bulbs flickered for a minute and shut of. They started working for my mom later that day. I feel as though I'm being watched, this started about 3 weeks before the actual happenings. I was practicing my psychic skills and I feel like someone is right behind me, almost trying to make me stop. When I told my family about these happenings they shrugged it off, they think my obsession over the paranormal is odd, but they take it as a joke. Can someone please tell me if they things happening are legit or if its all in my head or if I'm just freaking myself out. The thing is though, I'm not afraid. I'm envious of those with actual psychic abilities. I'm not sure if I should communicate with this entity or leave it be and I'm not sure if this is a real happening. Let me know please!
