Astral Projection And Lucid Dreaming?

It has been about two and a half months since I have started to practice seeing auras and experiencing other paranormal things. Surprisingly I have been able to see the human aura with some practice. I can see the etheric field almost all the time but I only get a faint bluish-reddish color when the lighting is behind me and a dark surface is in front of me.

Now that I've gotten more curious I've attempted Astral Projection and lucid dreaming. Astral projection is the one I have had the most "success" with so far. After meditating for 5-10 minutes I lay down and just imagine myself slowly rising out of my body, but at the most all I get are vibrations and a falling sensation, As if I was falling inside of my own body. This sensation seems really weird to me and I know I am not just half-asleep although I have also experienced this shortly before I wake up.

Is this me only getting halfway to the point I need to be? I just started with this so I could use any more advice with these 2 things because I know each are useful into their own ways. But I still have 1 question about lucid dreaming. I know what it is, but is it purely for personal entertainment? Or something more because I just found out other kids at actually have had it happen before to them but it seems they just use it for having fun in their dreams. Thanks in advance for any help I receive.

Maybe you should write down what you heard if you remember. Sometimes when we recall hearing that, it must be something important that we must need in our life path.

It is possible that you heard voices coming out from outer worldly entities and you remember them.

During astral projection, we may at times encounter beings that will communicate with us.

Oh, and I forgot to mention sometimes when I sleep or take naps I wake up with "memories" of voices in my head? Its not exactly noise, it's more like I'm recalling chatter that I think is from my dream. I have a feeling this is me talking to my spirit guides or possibly something else. I don't know I just thought it was something I should share

Thanks for the quick responses guys!
[at] AnneV thanks for the website

[at] Rasidah I'll keep that in mind when I try to do it later, I don't want to be drained before school even starts for the day

[at] Light I know I've tried to ingore it and it seems to work better but my problem is my breathing, it either gets shallower or I have to do it consciously which disrupts it my focus

I have astral projection and OBEs before, and yes the vibrations are only the beginning. If you want to continue with the experience you have to ignore the vibrations and just let yourself think that your flowing above your body. Easiest way is to think that your reaching the ceiling. You should cherish this gift, because many want to try it and can not. If your able to reach up to vibrations, you can also go further. Embrace your gift and explore. Good luck. 😉

When I usually experience lucid dreaming, when I wake up, I am completely drained.

Lucid dreaming can be used for personal reasons but it is also yourself being consciously aware in the Astral Realm. It is like Astral Traveling only you are not initially aware of leaving your body and the state of Lucid dreaming may not last the entire night. It is a start and a weaker version of Astral Travel.
