Little People Under The Blankets

I happened to come by or brought by destiny to this website, well since I could remember weird things did happen to me at night. For example, one night, I think I was 4 at the time, there was this thunderstorm and I was the only one awake, naturally as most kids I was afraid of lightning and thunder, and would cover my face with a blanket every time lightning/thunder went by, but every time I did so I would see like a bar under the blanket but it was antique everything was either made of plain wood and in the case the cups were made out of clay. Sometimes I would even see tiny people walking in and out of the bar (The little people were actually in color meaning as if they where an actual human being not pearly white or anything like that).

They or the place didn't actually scare me but I think they knew I was watching them because they would turn to look at me but wouldn't say anything. But what I now find weird is the part that I would only see them when it was raining with lightning/thunder and I actually once reached into the bar and took a cup out off the shelf, it was small, but I think, I'm not actually sure it sort of grew once it was out of the bar, this part is sort of blurry since after that there was like an avalanche and everything fell, making loud thuds that I could only hear and the cup I had also somehow shattered and disappeared.

As I grew up I couldn't see the bar anymore, was it perhaps because I was not longer afraid of thunder/lightning? Or if they only came out when I was afraid while being in the dark but then again why only during thunderstorms? I don't know if this is actually is a psychic ability or not or it was like spirits or ghost playing tricks or just being nice to me, and I am pretty sure I didn't imagined it all. Any comments will be appreciated.
